Disappointing

I appreciate the graveyard staff. Any hour of the day or night, I am always welcomed into a clean, quiet, and affordable motel room. Staff is respectful and always willing to help and answer any questions I might have about staying in a room. I was checked in quickly with no wait time. Thank you to Bubba for always welcoming me to a comfortable good night's sleep and a fresh shower in the morning before check-out. I love this motel for a mini getaway vacation. Best rates around. I couldn't ask for anything more. Anything I might expect of a motel stay is right there at City Center 600 W Van Buren. Good place to stay for singles, families, and more. Thank you, City Center. An extra thank you to the graveyard shift. Bubba works graveyard, and she is so friendly and helpful. Every time I stay over, I have a good night. I was so comfortable I didnt want to check out. I will be back to stay more nights in the near future. Thats how much i LIKE staying there because of Bubba and her warm welcome. Bubba you are awesome, thank you

Staff are very professional and attentive. Spacious rooms, clean with good air conditioning. Quiet, safe, and cozy. My go-to motel. Bathtubs for long soaking to deeply relax. Thank you, City Center, with staff and owner Jagu. Who is there every day to make sure the property is up and running. “I couldn’t get the TV to work properly. It wouldn’t let me watch any movie channels or other channels, no matter what I tried.”

The staff were so sweet and helpful. I felt sure that the night staff was keeping an eye out, including keeping an eye on my car. The location was walking distance from where I needed to be. And they didn’t charge for parking on top of the room rate, like what other places do. It’s very much a 2-star level motel as far as the room itself. The top sheet and fitted sheet were both a shade of the same color but didn’t actually match and there was no comforter like what you’d expect. But the bed seemed to be new and the pillow was fine. There was a single roach in the bathroom. (Honestly, big roaches can come up the drain in AZ so that fact alone doesn’t determine much for me.) Next time I need to be in downtown Phoenix, I’ll see what else is available for a reasonable price but I’d consider returning.
