It was a great stay

Nice that they have bkfst included and dinner options now 👍

the bed sucked, felt like sleeping in a hole, the shower valve didn't work correctly and could only get very hot water as well as there is a parking fee which we weren't aware of. However the room was nice and ideal if you're having business with Mayo clinic next door.

Some 70% of the clientele are there to be close to Mayo and this hotel is very convenient and staff are very quick to call for a shuttle if you need one.

I was able to check in early.

Staff and location

Comfort of the room. Close to Mayo Clinic and the free shuttle, friendliness of staff, also grocery order services inflated prices of their onsite market. Limited hours for their dining options

Managed to get a very clean and quiet room. Suggest putting do not disturb on the phone as the staff felt OK about calling after 9 AM and they said really they could call after 8 AM. In my case, it was about a couple minor personal kitchen items (a pepper shaker, and a knife), someone had left weeks ago and had been calling about repeatedly and then showed up, so it seemed totally unnecessary to call me, particularly as they had had ample opportunity to check the room. I could have been sleeping, and this was definitely not an emergency, which I had imagined was the only reason I was getting a call from them. I later explained to the desk supervisor, that especially as the place is next to a hospital and they get a lot of patients and family, that people can be sleeping at any time and may especially need the rest.

The location next to Mayo Clinic Phoenix was very helpful. They also provided a shuttle to the clinic buildings so you didn’t have to walk in the heat or take your car. Close to shops and restaurants was also helpful.

Front desk check-in was brutally SLOW even though it was not busy. Many behind the desk but most of them just standing around. Bathroom in unit lacked cleanliness, including the floors, door knobs, door jambs, and shower curtain liner, which was brown along the entire bottom. Carpets in unit had stains that have not been addressed.

Breakfast choices largely the same every day, except for an occasional different breakfast sandwich. There was never bacon, only turkey sausage patties.

Everything with our stay was perfect.

I liked its location, the cleanliness, the room set-up, the view, the night front desk people. I didnt like the day front desk people who were a little less kind, less amicable, less tolerant of hearing about the very noisy refrigerator/freezer that was loud and its motor hummed HORRIBLY loudly, intermittently all night long disrupting one's sleep. This was in room 512. We asked for a change in our room to no avail. They wanted to fix the refrigerator while we were still in the room trying to sleep. So when they never came, then only after several hours, did we get a phone call that basically said they couldn't fix it and that they would now move us. But by then it was too late. We were going to our appointment and couldnt move anywhere at that time, or else we would be late to our appointment.

Excellent and so convenient to the Mayo Clinic.

Yeah $14/night parking. We did not get our room serviced the 2nd night. The maid said they only fo the first night. The halls and elevators were very hot.

I had a king-size bed which was heavenly, and didn't want to leave. The shower was amazing, and with soft water in the room - BONUS! The room had a very nice kitchenette equipped with dishes, a full fridge, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. Typical coffee maker and condiments provided, which is a nice way to start the day. The continental breakfast was VERY nice, with the usual eggs, meat, potatoes, waffles, and great coffee. My favorite, though, and what I only had, was the delicious oatmeal! They didn't hold back with great goodies to put on it, i.e., walnuts, almonds, shredded coconut, brown sugar, raisins, etc. Blueberries or strawberries would have been nice, but I grabbed a fresh banana. Great place, and I highly recommend it. I look forward to staying here again! Thanks.

I didn’t have a chance to use the pool that it looked very beautiful. The room had a standard size refrigerator, microwave, stove, cabinets with dishes and plates and pots and pans. They had a huge swivel TV. The beds were very comfortable, but quite high off the ground. The bathroom had a tub with a good, shower. Lots of towels. The room room was only serviced twice a week, but that was Ample for us. Good air-conditioning. We might have to stay again for a couple of weeks and the Residence would be a very comfortable place to stay and so near to the Mayo Clinic.

Clean rooms. Friendly start. Good breakfast.

The staff were professional and caring. The food was always delicious. My room was comfortable and clean. I would definitely return.
