Friends Hostel - Phuket Airport

The mixed dorm with 4 beds was too small and dark with one window. They should provide better lighting in the room if it's not possible to have extra windows made.

The owner and front desk staff were both very responsive when I was concerned about my late arrival due to the flight delay. The place is very clean. The second floor is all private rooms so dorms begin on floor 3. It’s amazing location before/after your flight - only 5 minute drive from Phuket airport. There is a 7/11, eateries, and the Phuket smart bus stop nearby. There are only stairs and there are a fair number of steps to each floor. I was woken up by the cleaning crew well before checkout time - they came in to clean one bed at a time. I wish they waited until after checkout time.

The receptionist was so-so kind and professional. Cleaning service women were amazing, doing their work very properly. Everybody was friendly and smiling. The hostel has a good location, 10 minutes walking from the beach, 3 minutes from the shop. I enjoyed my stay, I’m not really a hostel type, I like privacy, but the shared room allowed me to feel comfortable. A need of removing my proper shoes/sleepers and hotel’s sleepers offered. I find it unhygienic ?

It was nice it was close to airport but not close to anything else I booked for 6 nights then had a an emergency occur after the first night and had to leave and they wouldn't even offer a partial refund for the rest of the nights. Edc was happening that weekend so I know for fact they would have been able to rebook that same room that same day and wouldn't have lost a dime. Changed the one pair of sheets and been done with it. To me that's super shady and not the way a business should be run

nice hostel close to the airport, clean and comfortable.

Good location near airport, 7/11, beach and restaurants. Didn’t really have hot water in shower. Bed creaking really loudly with any movement made it very hard to sleep. Smell of mold in the room.

Close to the airport and east to enjoy the last days in the area. Close to the beach walking distance Washroom facility could be better maintained

The location, the hostel was all perfect, but the place was a little smaller than I expected although the hostel is clean. Coming back again

This was a decent hostel for a one night stay before my wife and I left out of HKT, which was 7 minutes away. We arrived in the middle of the night, and we were really glad to have a private room with an air conditioning unit. The showers were also hot. Unfortunately, the private room that my wife and I booked had a mildewy smell, as did the towels we received. The showers (unfortunately shared) were decently clean, but not amazing. Other than that, the facilities and amenities met our expectations.

Everything was very nice, I doo recommend this place. The staff could provide more information about shared space etc

Clean and calm friendly staff

The staff, the beds and linens were comfortable and clean. Thank you amber for being so kind and lovely. This is the best accommodation in Phuket by far I stayed in. Lovely common area. Roof top with a great view. I will be back I wish there was a pool but didn’t need it. This is the best hostel in Phuket for value

Clean quiet and comfy!!!!!

Close to the airport. Hot shower in men’s room. Check in was late. No soap in the bathrooms. Noisy from neighbors and vehicles outside.

Friendly staff!

Perfect for what it needs to be. Walkable from airport, near 7/11. Comfy beds with curtains. Clean bathrooms, full of people likely staying 1 night due to near airport. The light in my bed flickered alot so resulted to using mobile torch when late but not a massive issue. Still would highly reccomend
