    The hotel is under construction so there was a lot of dust. The hallways are being wallpapered so it doesn't look great. The room however was fine. Clean and ready to be used. The lobby was under plastic when we arrived at 4:30pm but by breakfast the next morning it was "put back together", mostly usable which was good. The staff was nice...gave us water bottles upon arrival which is always appreciated.

    The hotel is under renovation. Some of the staff need more training. The receptionist stated the rooms were renovated, but I hope they are not finished. The bathroom floor and door needs lots attention. There was not a phone in the room, no wake-up call

    I have never stayed at a property that has just changed hands but I hope to never do it again. Although they were changing from Hilton SPARK to a Hampton it seemed as though Hampton has really downgraded this property from normal amenities. I get it! when you are changing over there is going to be a mess here and there but I was there for 2 days and and all the floors had the same dirt & crap on them that was there when I first got there, nobody bothered sweeping or cleaning anything. The gentleman at check-in told me that all the rooms were done and they were working on the rest of the building, with that said there were things in my room that were unfinished and seemed to be low quality. The elevator was pretty yuck! not only dirty and the sounds it made was creepy and it did not have a service check/evaluation certificate in it, take the stairs. I really hope they make this place way better than it is but I truly feel I way over paid for my stay, I didn`t eat there or even have a coffee.

    My name is Paula PauI and I booked a 3 night stay (6/2-6/5) at Hampton inn Columbus East in Columbus OH through Bookings . Com. When we got there, the hotel was in full renovation mode. The halls were cluttered with furniture, trash on the hall floor and workers painting. We could not stay there because of the smell and clutter. The mgmt stayed we would need to call Bookings.com to get a refund. We had to go to another hotel to stay for 3 nights. I am looking for a refund of $409.62. That hotel should not be open while they were renovating. Please have someone call me so I can talk about my refund.     The bed was amazing and the pillows. I also liked the size of the room. No dresser. I stayed for a week and I would have liked to unpack all of my clothes.

    I’ve stayed here off & on for over 12-years and this was the WORST visit ever. First night I had no hot water (called desk & was told maintenance would be in at 7:00am); hallways were very dark (I need to see who’s in the hallway when I’m walking). Didn’t eat breakfast 1st morning but went down at 9:00am 2nd day & there was nothing available in the warmers. Mentioned it to the front desk and was told they’d check into it. Went & loaded my car coming back in 10-15 minutes & still nothing. Bed was terribly uncomfortable - had king bed & sunk on outer areas. I paid $500 for 2-nights and would love to have some type of refund for all the negative happenings on this property!! I am 99% sure that I will not stay at this location again.

    Great muffins and mini scones for breakfast, with very good orange juice and milk. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Microwave oven in room. Hot coffee and tea station near the front desk. Location near several nice restaurants and shopping areas. No drawers in room to store clothes during a long stay. Omelettes and sausages were bland and not very hot.

    Bed was comfortable and clean. Carpet was clean. Bathroom shower with soap dispensers was great. Air conditioner worked great. Good microwave oven. There were plenty of plugs for electronics. Breakfast area was clean and comfortable. The orange juice and milk were fabulous. Location is right near the highway and near several restaurants. There were no drawers to put clothes in. All the cabinets were open including a spot to hang clothes. The counter space near the bathroom sink was small. The food in the breakfast room tended to be barely warm, and fairly bland tasting.

    Room is pretty clean Housekeeper are very noisy in the early morning. Front desk staff may not be very knowledgeable about certain things, like pre paid rooms
