Upon arrival we checked in, went to our room found a bed to be dirty requested a new room went to that room unpacked found the bed to be dirty again Donnie, who was on staff that night was very kind and took care of us in the Mgr. the next morning to take care of us, the property is definitely up for renovation. It is very worn. Breakfast was good and everyone we was super kind. The property itself does need a overhaul and they’re cleaning needs to be stepped up.

Place was very clean, and staff was present. Live music on Saturday night was great. There was a dog barking all day long in the room next to us. I get it's a pet friendly place, but letting a dog bark and annoy customers is not cool either.

Great location. Pool’s water slide is great for kids; however, the pool is small. Also, the room was a modest size. We had three in our party and it was a bit tight. Bathroom was small and the shower could have used some cleaning. The balcony was nice and private.

I asked the front desk to extend my stay by another day. She told me it couldn’t be done. That was the day I checked in. The next morning went down to that desk and asked the girl if I could extend it by another day. Yes, she was very happy to do it for me. Why couldn’t the girl when I checked in couldn’t do it.

Breakfast is super good. The staff is amazing we had some check in request and Kathryn was so wonderful to help us. I would stay again. !!!

Great overall stay. Property is in a good walking range for most of the attractions. Staff was great, especially Lauren. Make sure to say hi to her.

We stay at Black Fox Lodge about 6 times a year. The location is good for the places we want to go. There is a nice trail behind the hotel that follows along the creek. Only negative for us is the worn-out mattresses.

Perfect walking distance to the Leconte Event Center if you’re in town for an event there.
