Location was close to our trip Carowinds. I didn’t like how they weren’t able to accommodate us. We asked for a refund for Friday since we arrived Saturday past midnight. We arrive around 1-2 am. They said they could not refund our money and would have to contact booking.com. We also asked about extending our check-out time they also said no. Due to them having short staff for housing keeping. As customers we did not feel valued.

Don't do it! The location is great, and the price is solid. But I guess the adage you get what you pay for stands. I had a 4 night stay. 2 of the nights the fridge inexplicably leaked forming a pool of water in the room, and the front desk tasked me with cleaning it up. (thanks for the extra towels, smh) The room smelled horribly of mildew, but I wasn't given the option to change rooms. The place clearly needs to be upgraded. I asked for a discount on the room from the manager as a courtesy for my troubles. All I got was $24 off of a $450 bill. Complete joke. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

The pool although I had to get them to get the cleaning robot out before we could use it in the morning. Staff was a little rude.

Property was good for price

No AC in common areas, including breakfast and lobby. No baggage carriers available without waiting for staff to go get. No towels/bath cloths in room except one set. Refrigerator was dirty. Wall had what looked like someone picked their nose and wiped it on the wall. The tub was nasty and peeling. The peeling was falling in while showering. The air vents were filthy and what appeared to be mold forming around the bathroom vent. The staff was very nonchalant when I reported. They were not helpful at all. There were several people that appeared to be homeless hanging around the parking lot. The smell of weed was SO strong as soon as you went outside. They can't really help the homeless and weed I don't suppose...just mentioning for the overall experience. I would just as soon sleep in my car overnight before I spent a dollar to soend another night there. Totally disappointed. I tried calling several times to speak to a manager but was never able to reach them. I reported the night of and the person said I had to wait til the am. The am person said they would report. I never heard anything from anyone.
