Villa Verde Piran, Authentic Mediterranean Stay

Host was very nice and responsive. Accommodation was in a great location to explore Piran and the room was a decent size. Unfortunately when we arrived the bed was full of hair. After messaging the host, they were very apologetic and quickly got the cleaners back. Unfortunately we still found dirty marks on the corner of the new bed sheet, found more hair on the floor and the bathroom could have been cleaner so never felt fully comfortable.

The host was very helpful and friendly, answering questions and providing advice on places to go. It's a great location for exploring the old town of Piran but is also very peaceful and quiet at night. The room was clean with a good bathroom. The building is a bit more like a home, with a large garden and conservatory area that you can access. There is also tea and coffee available in the conservatory area. Everywhere you would want to visit in the town is within walking distance. It wasn't a problem for me, but be aware that you will have to walk a short distance to the property with your luggage in the streets which cars cannot access. There are two nearby garages you can use for parking, and the Arze one is only 5 minutes maximum away, but it is back up a slope and steps to get there. It might have been useful to have a small table with 1 or 2 chairs in the room I had, as there was enough space for this.

It really felt like a proper home from home. In a secluded position in the Old Town, there are only a few rooms so it's not crowded and it feels like your own. The owners were very good with communication about picking up keys. There is a lovely garden and a veranda-style porch to have the coffee/tea/pastries that are always available. The room was bright and clean. It felt private as I was on the top floor with windows providing lots of light. The bathroom was good too. You can easily walk here from the bus station. Less than 10 minutes. It's quite an old bed, which looked good but could have been more comfortable. Also, and this might sound petty, there were cleaning materials always sitting outside my room door. It would have been nice to see those stored away, it was such a lovely house.

It was a really lovely accomodation, located close to a lot of places. Very welcoming, with lots of guidance on where to go/eat. Very comfortable bedding and bathroom. Maybe some opacifying curtains would have been better but other than that nothing to say :)

Very quiet place, lovely staff and nice facilities such as free coffee and cakes You can’t unload at the place. If you are traveling with a suitcase, it can be a hassle but we had great help.

Room is smaller but very comfy and cozy. Wonderful environment.

Nice rooms in a beautiful city, perfect location to visit the city. Very flexible. Owner reachable over the phone whenever necessary. Rooms are not very big. Hotel location and rooms on upper floors difficult to reach for people with mobility issues: you will need to walk quite far down (and back up) a steep hill from the first available parking lot to the accommodation, and there is no elevator.

Location in a quiet part of the center. Close to the bus stop. Easy self check in and communication with the host. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom Not sure why it’s called bed and breakfast as there was no breakfast ? But this wasn’t a problem for us, there are many cafes in Piran
