The Rif - Boutique Hotel

For some reason the hotel staff couldn't arrange a taxi for morning travelers. Will find another hotel to stay in Pisa next time.

Great location only 5 minutes walk from tower. Nice little restaurant and bar

Everything was terrific! The location couldn’t be better! We were in the family room and it was the perfect size. There was a garden to enjoy the sun or coffee and breakfast. Unfortunately time didn’t allow for that but I would’ve loved to. The reception and other staff were friendly and the security gate was an added feature that felt good even though the neighborhood was excellent it was nice to have. I would totally stays there again! Loved it!

Incredibly helpful and accommodating staff, great location, comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. The common elements and garden are lovely. An elevator would have been helpful.

Loved the location and the hotel was the best

Outdoor garden and overall design is really classy and sophisticated, amazing breakfast Family room which is separate from the main hotel building literally has no windows and proper ventilation. The smell of ammonia after cleaning was so bad I could feel is trying to sleep even though we arrived around lunch and I kept door open…

Located on the heart of the town yet very easy to get to with very few stairs and the balcony with the most wonderful view for your morning coffee; which was also supplied Nothing. Was wonderful

Staff was cheerful, helpful, professional and always available. Location is a 3 minute walk from train station. Breakfast spread was plentiful with 2 options based on quantity of food desired. Nothing critical or important. Minor issues: In room bathroom is confining...small shower, even smaller distance between toilet and wall to be able to sit down.

Very clean and great location. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The communication was very prompt.

Extremely Disappointing Stay

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was unacceptable. The room we were given was not clean at all, and it was clear that basic standards of housekeeping were not being met. On top of that, the staff showed no respect for guests’ needs and were not honest about the situation. We were told the hotel was “fully booked,” which turned out to be untrue, and they refused to give us the room we originally booked. There was also a serious lack of amenities, many of which were advertised but not actually available. It felt as though guests who book through Booking.com are treated as less important, which is completely unprofessional. Overall, this stay was frustrating, disappointing, and far below what any traveler should expect. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was expensive and left a lot to desire. It was mostly bread and pastries. No hot options. The bread was hard.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful, both before and during our visit. The location was perfect for visiting the Piazza del Duomo. It is also very close to the train station. Best of all, we arrived early evening and were able to have a lovely dinner at The Rif after we arrived. We would highly recommend this property for the very friendly and helpful staff, the proximity to key cultural sites and to the train station.
