B&B La Stella

Very close to Pisa Centrale train station and not too far from everything else. Location only has 3 rooms, so not too crowded, clean and quiet. Room I booked had a balcony, not much of a view (1st floor) however nice to open doors and be able to sit out. Spacious enough for 3 people. Had TV, aircon (it was a massive plus in hot June), free water in the room, equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer (plates, free tea/coffee). Mini fridge in the room was not cooling enough so water was room temperature despite being there all night. However you can use main fridge in the kitchen as it was cooling perfectly.

Shower head was broken and didn’t work properly. It was way to bright in room at night, needs black out curtains. Air conditioning didn’t work properly by third night.

Host was very kind and friendly. Property was close to the train station and easy to walk to main city attractions. The street/neighborhood the property is on is not the nicest and a bit scary at times.

Close proximity to Pisa Centralle was great There was a mosquito in the room which annoyed me

It has perfect location, near the train station and the important places , we went to Pisa tower and to the Airport on foot,the check in and out were without staff, according to the instructions which took by messages between us and them.if i visit Pisa again i will stay again in La Stella , thank you. Location , cleaning , the good net.

Property was fantastic!

Love that you can check in late due to the proces being automated. The place is very clean, and a fridge with complementory water and soft drinks is a very nice touch. Do bring what to want to eat for breakfast (in the nice kitchen, coffee-pods provided free), or you'll have to shop in the morning.

Great location. Clean and furnished simply but attractively. Our room faced the highway and I slept poorly.

The huge problem was the check in. We had to go back and forth with the owner on WhatsApp to communicate. We were trying to make sure we were in the right place. He told us to go to the right, but we found out we should be going left. He wasn't specific on which room was ours. The keys are named with the matching room. We took the room that would let us in because the key for the room we were assigned to didn't work. When he sent us the code, he should've told us which key we were assigned to. Then I asked him several times can you please come and help. I called him several times--he didn't pick up. I then told him I wanted part of a refund because I am in a room I didn't ask for. His reply was "You're in the Best Room of the house!!" Then I am thinking if we are in the best room, then what in the heck did my room look like??? Poor, poor, poor customer service. If you want good customer service and an easy check in, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!! We have stayed at three other places. This is #4 and by far the WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! Oh, and the microwave wouldn't heat up my coffee. I tried using the coffee maker, but the coffee mugs were too high to fit under it, so I essentially had cold cappuccino.

It was the best room ever! Free minibar with water, fanta, juice, kinder. Very good common kitchen with dishes, kettle, coffee maker

B&B La Stella is located on a quiet street within a 5-minute walk from the rail station and the Pisa mover that can deliver you to the airport in 10 minutes. It is very convenient for people travelling by train and those who need to get easily to the airport. In addition, it is well located for a pleasant walk to the Field of Miracles, and other parts of old Pisa. The room was spacious, with a true king-size bed (a rarity in Europe) with access to a common kitchen for 3 similar rooms. In the fridge, even free beer awaited for the weary travelers. Prospective travelers need to be aware that -- in spite of its name -- it is not a bed and breakfast facility.

Beds were comfortable, and room was reasonably clean. Very spacious apartment, right next to the train station. Host was helpful with check in and local recommendations. AC was good. Room wasn’t the cleanest- scum outside of the shower, and stains along the walls in the room and bathroom. Instead of a full mattress, it was 2 twins pushed together. Neighborhood isn’t the best, considering it’s right next to the train station. The are smells like sulfur and our room had a pungent air freshener that was like a wall of perfume when walking in. Also the walls are very thin, I was awoken multiple times by people coming in around 1:00-2:00 AM. The lights were fluorescent white, felt like a hospital.

Prompt response from property person and have flexibility to drop language and pick it back. Bed sheet doesn't look clean We thought entire kitchen was for us, but once we reached we came to know it's sharing with other family Not an issue but still it was a surprise.
