Embassy Suites By Hilton Pittsburgh Downtown

Room was OK. Great size and having the pull out couch was great in theory for our family. But the room was full of worn out fixtures, carpet stains, and two random old socks were under the pull out couch mattress. The beds were comfy and clean, but the pull out couch mattress with stained and there was inadequate clean bedding for it.

Unfortunately, my stay at Embassy Suites Pittsburgh was very disappointing. While the beds were comfortable, that was about the only positive part of the experience. The room was not very clean, and within the first 10 minutes of arriving, the bathroom door handle fell off. I immediately contacted the front desk, but no one seemed concerned or interested in addressing the issue. The experience at the hotel bar only made things worse. The bartender was rude, the drinks were poorly made, and the prices were far too high for the quality. Overall, this stay fell far below my expectations. I won’t be staying here again and would not recommend it to others.

Had a handful of cleanliness and maintenance issues with the room that we reported to the front desk on our first day, and then again the next day, but nothing was ever done.

Best continental breakfast ever. They had an omelette station. Breakfast options were so good. And the complimentary drinks were amazing

The breakfast was good, and the room was nice and clean (and spacious!). We liked that the location was central to other locations, and the view was beautiful. We used the pool in the morning and it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned up from the previous night - there were used towels and a little garbage around and no clean towels to use. The flow of the breakfast area wasn’t great - it got really congested in some areas.

Been there to host a family reunion in 2019 so familiar with the hotel. Beautiful historic building. Comfy room with nice bed. The bar is nice and cozy. Parking is valet and not cheap but neither is anything else. Not a thing

The staff at the check in desk were not very engaging and didn’t give any details about the pool, valet, breakfast, manager’s reception. I had to ask about all of it myself.

The hotel was clean, staff was helpful, and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location, clean rooms!

Breakfast was excellent! Did not get the rooms that I paid for in January! One of my adult sons had to sleep on the couch instead of a bed for three nights!

The size of the room for the price was good. The location of the hotel is nice, you are in the heart of downtown. Valet services were working very hard. Complimentary drink hour was fun! Staff was unbeliveably rude. Room didnt have airconditioning and staff was rude about having to fix that. Only 2 valet workers causes slow time to get car. Wedding in hotel blocked the lobby for an hour and required other guests to stand outside and wait.
