Absolutely amazing stay! I originally came to Pittsburgh for a work trip and loved this hotel so much that I immediately rebooked it for an upcoming trip with my family. The design, artwork, and little unexpected details throughout the hotel make it feel like an experience, not just a place to stay. I especially loved the complimentary postcards you can actually write and send from the hotel. Such a thoughtful touch! Beautiful, unique, memorable, and easily one of my favorite hotel stays. Can’t wait to come back with my family!

Super comfortable bed, very clean hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. It was so eclectic from a decorative perspective and centrally located. I would highly recommend.

This hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Pittsburgh. Amenities are fantastic- great restaurant and super fast valet service are the stand outs. We travel to Pittsburgh a lot and this hotel is always my first choice.

One of the best stays I have ever had in my traveling. I will be back!

Evening reception was nice!

The entire staff was so helpful and kind. I loved my stay

The guest room was beautiful, quirky/fun, and very clean! The restaurant/bar had good service and is really pretty, but the wine selection was terrible (no normal Pinot Grigio or Sauv. Blanc that wasn't dark yellow/oaky) and were very expensive $16-$18/glass. The food selection at the Commoner was very limited so we never ate there, but we did sit at the bar. The coffee service in the morning in the common area was very good. The social hour 5-6pm was nice, but again...poor choice of wines. Chardonnay should never be the only white offered. The front desk was extremely helpful and room service was good as well. Worst part - it took 50 minutes to get our car from the valet. Let them know at least an hour before you want your car!

I’m in hotels 100 nights each year and have been for most of my 30+ year career. My work takes me all over the US. I just enjoyed 3 nights at the Kimpton Monaco in Pittsburgh and it was PERFECTION. Beautifully decorated and maintained. Exceptional staff - kind and helpful without being overbearing. Excellent bed and bedding - fabulous shower. The adjoining restaurant also excellent. A true pleasure to bee their guest.

The room was nice, bed comfortable and it was clean No water is in the room! We were not told breakfast was included or that we needed a reservation. The restaurant staff were very inefficient and service was very slow. Valet was also very slow and you should advertise the hours more prominently

Amazing stay… the food is so good.

This is a very nice hotel. It has a small hotel feel. The rooms aren't huge, but adequate in size. They are well decorated. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodative. The morning coffee is particularly good. We miss the old Kimpton complimentary happy hour. The gym is fairly well equipped, including two Pelotons. Only had breakfast at the Commoner, but it was quite good. All in all, a very good place to stay.

I told the desk staff when I checked out that I have stayed at quite a few luxury hotels, including the four seasons, and the Waldorf Astoria, and a few other hotels but this particular Kimpton in Pittsburgh is my absolute favorite place to stay. The hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are gorgeous. They went above and beyond for me. I forgot my razor not only did they bring me a razor but they brought me shaving cream. I brought a bottle of tonic, but I didn’t bring a bottle opener they brought me a bottle opener. The entire staff went above and beyond.
