Everything Noty

The staff was extremely accommodating in all ways. It was in a great location, quite close to the ferry to Cozumel and 5th Avenue but away from the noise. Nice and quiet. I felt safe there. Good price. Very clean. The only thing is the rooms didn’t look new like the posted pictures of the place. The bed was good if you like firm beds

Really bare bones but friendly staff and Banana Joe was very helpful. Coffee in room and a blanket
-
The location was good. Not too far from the bus station/ferry. They allow dogs. If you just need a place to sleep, it's fine. It's not a comfortable place to work. No desk, no standard comforts like a refrigerator or kettle. No where to fill water bottles. The pipes were stinky.
-
Location was great, room was clean and they cleaned the room on a regular basis. Staff were also very friendly. Although it did state this in the rules, you are not allowed visitors after 10pm, which came as a surprise one day.

Great service from the staff and an excellent value. The room I had did not have any furniture to sit on and no windows or decorations, so it was a bit stark
-
Localization. Ants in the room, leaking toilet, drunk guests unable to find their room in the middle of the night, attitude of the staff.

Property was in a good location in Playa del Carmen. Affordable. Effective aircon. There were ants in the room that I couldn’t keep away from my bags

Exceptional

The room was relatively clean and furniture new as seen in pictures. We arrived at a dark and closed building. Pool was closed, half of the building was under construction. Room, bathroom and bed was tiny with windows just to the hallway. Manager was availabel only via whatsapp and discussion did not lead to significant changes.

Passable

It was peaceful. It had a locked door so you had privacy. The staff were very pleasant and easy to deal with. It is within walking distance of shopping, food, and even the ferry. The room was a little small but it was clean and comfortable otherwise
-
Very close to the center, room was clean, the owner is really nice, clean pool the room was quite small and the bed seemed a bit unstable for two, shower is quite small with little water pressure. Sometimes it was a bit loud late at night but I think it can be much worse on 5th avenue or closer to the center.

Polite and kind receptionist, felt secure living there. It all comes down to your neighbors when judging this place, due to the poor isolation. My first night = perfect. My second night = the zoo had moved in next door. If they were to isolate better, or have someone available at night (to tell people to adhere to the rules), the place would have got a 10 out of me.

The place is both beautiful and peaceful. I enjoyed the clean pool for cooling down, and the 7 Min walk to Playa Del Carmen Beach. There are many restaurants and Walmart is very close too. Senor Jose and Senora Luce take very good care of their guests. They are friendly and made me feel at home. I liked it so much that I extended my stay. Thank you Casa Maca!

on a busy street but sound proof, no disturbance. clean tiny swimming pool, didnt look welcoming

We picked Casa Maca based on its location since we had to get up early and catch the bus from the ADO station. The price was also acceptable for one night in PDC. Towels and bed sheets were clean. The check-in was super easy. The place is pretty loud and you can hear the other guests coming and going.

Clean and harmony inside of the „jungle”. Well situated property nearby 30 Ave. Benito Juarez. Entering the gate you feel peaceful climate. That position giving you possibilities to walk towards beaches and centre very quickly. There is parking spot outside of the street, which is advantage. At the first glance, once sat nav reached destination, where the property is ? Well, heh is not perfectly recognisable. :) Lady was very helpful and friendly. Swimming pool might be a bit cleaner. Rooms are not perfectly isolated from the hall.

Close to the city center Poor communication skills, been waiting for more than an hour outside to get inside, dirty pool and surroundings. Seems like they bought tv second hand as after a few minutes it starts showing some programmed video of fruits.

The room is clean, the location is good, staffs are really kind and helpful. Security is great!! I was not sure why, but I couldn’t join the WiFi on the second day. Voice of another guest from hallway was a little noisy at night.
