Hotel Colorado Playa Del Carmen

Staff and manager are extremely friendly and helpful, the property is artsy, clean and very comfortable It’s the second time I’ve stayed there for a reason. There’s nothing I really don’t like the vibe is super chill.

Cord was very warm and friendly. He kindly upgraded our room and was always available with a smile to see if we needed anything. We were right downtown but the hotel was quiet. We loved our stay and will be coming back!

Some noise, but not too bad.

The room was good. Spacious and obviously cleaned for us before arrival. There was fresh water available for drinking and the host was very pleasant. The property isn’t located as advertised. It’s actually a couple of blocks further from the water than advertised but still convenient enough. I sanitized everything when I arrived and the cleaning staff seemed frustrated that we wouldn’t allow them in. The only downside to the property was an abundance of cockroaches, which would have been treated by cleaning staff had we allowed them in to spray. I’m lung compromised so spraying was part of my reason for not allowing the cleaning staff entry. By the end of 10 days the cockroaches were very evident. This hotel has an older feel, but it definitely has charm. The location is amazing – just a short walk to everything in Playa del Carmen, yet it's tucked away enough to be quiet and relaxing. The rooms are basic but very clean, and the staff is super kind and helpful. Daily cleaning is a big plus, and the Wi-Fi was solid for working online. Great value for the price – cozy, friendly, and just what you need for a comfortable stay.

The property hosts, Cord and his wife were terrific. He was always on hand and available with a wonderful disposition! The location is great, very central yet somewhat removed from all the noise and commotion, close walking distance to beaches, the bus terminal. The place is very homey and colorful, a joy to stay there. A kitchen in the room too. The value of the place for the area is excellent! Some nights I could hear nightlife music, but it was somewhat distant (and one night very good!), on those nights also slept fine with earplugs.

The owner of this hotel is super nice and helpful. I don’t speak Spanish and when I stayed there he helped me a lot.

Great customer service, comfortable room, colorful, quick walk to main attractions in Playa. Nothing. Great little spot.

Extremely friendly staff

Excellent hotel, great location, near ADO bus station and the main street but the noices don't reach the hotel. Rooms are big and clean. The owner is super nice and helpful, very easy to communicate with. Everything was perfect, I highly reccomend for staying in Playa del Carmen.

The location is good till late evening it was noisy there was one small soap and no shampoo

Superb

Good location for the price. Spacious with a comfortable bed, good AC, ok hot water and internet. Friendly host. Very dated, old appliances, and no coffee. Drinking Water was available but you had to leave your room. Tiny tv no bigger than a laptop screen.
