Hotel Casa De Las Flores

Comfortable and spacious rooms. Everything was clean and the aircon and wifi worked great. Very convenient location, easy walking distance to the main pedestrian area, the ADO bus station, and a large Walmart. Nice to have a water station in reception to be able to fill bottles. The only improvement would be to have better water pressure in the showers. But otherwise everything was great!

Great swimming pool, nice facilities. Very well located near the beach. Friendly staff.

Hotel rooms need to be updated

the clean lady were so nice, she put a cute towel swan in my bed No duvet, no water, no water bottle, no hair dryer…..basically only has a bed. I asked for a blanket, but it was so thin, and the AC position right on the bed, made me got a pretty bad cold during vacation. And the room has 0 privacy, every window is facing the hallway, which is a common thing in that hotel. Also there was construction going on very nearby starts every morning… And the pillow were not comfortable either.

It was a beautiful hotel and great walking distance to 5th Avenue. Nothing.

The bright white light bulbs, these should be like the yellow bulbs they have on the patio. The white bulbs were not great for ambiance. Also, breakfast was good, but not on site.

The location - I liked that it was located outside of the touristy area yet everything was in walking distance. The gardens, pool and the art make it feel like a getaway oasis. The room was big and comfortable. The staff were also very nice. There was construction going on during the day next door. I understand that this is likely out of the hotels control.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, the manager and staff are absolutely sweet. The breakfast place is delicious (also for lunch/dinner). We had a misadventure outside of the hotel at Punta Esmeralda (our car was broken into and bags stolen) and the hotel manager was so supportive and helpful to do whatever he could to help us out. Really outstanding.

I found the location to be very convenient, close to the ADO and the Quinta/beach and many restaurants and shops. It’s on a quiet street, so there is no late night noise from bars or clubs. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot and had good water pressure. There is a mini fridge in the room as well. It can be a bit noisy if there are many people in the pool as the rooms are kind of built around it. There were small ants in the bathroom sink area, but this is very common in the caribe and didn’t bother me at all.

I was on the second floor, so this would be unlikely to be a major issue, but I noticed that the bathroom window didn't have a lock. I would recommend adding one. Also, the water for the bidet had a small leak, and should be tightened up.

We stayed in room 18 just for one night (we stopped in Playa del Carmen to be closer to Cancun airport) and it was very comfortable. The room was spacious, had a little fridge, AC and a fan. The beds were comfy, the water was hot, the wifi was good. There was a lovely pool to use. The hotel is located close to the ADO terminal and a short walk to Quinta Ave. We didn't experience any noise at nights from the nearby bars. Everything was good.

I travel a lot and I dislike staying in resorts/busy areas. Hotel Casa de las Flores exceeded all of my expectations and was an amazing home base for our trip to Playa del Carmen. The staff were incredible, the space felt wild and cozy all at the same time (jungle vibes), and the hotel concierge was my favourite part (Blackie, the cat). The space was the perfect distance from everything - it took us no longer than 10-15 minutes to walk anywhere we needed to. If you are wanting absolute dead quiet, this place may not be perfect for you due to the bar next door. However, we spent our evenings playing cards out in the common area and it made the most amazing background noise. We felt the place would have been eerily silent otherwise! Once back in our rooms you really couldn't hear much music. There are so many nice restaurants and street vendors nearby. However, please note this is NOT a party hotel, and do not expect it to be one or you will not have the time you want. We felt incredibly safe, they have 24/7 security and the gate locks at night. We got back this morning at 02:00am, and we are already looking at coming back in 6 months. Until next time, Hotel Casa de las Flores! Nothing. This place was everything we had hoped for and more. Don't hesitate to book this - there were families, couples, and solo travellers. This place is for everyone.

Good location, although do keep in mind there are two bars next door that have loud music throughout the night
