Devossion By Live Aqua Playa del Carmen All Inclusive - Adults Only

I love this place. This is our fourth time staying here since December. I can’t say enough how wonderful the facilities and staff are here. I wanted to take a minute to mention the people that went way above to make our stay beyond wonderful. Mario, Caesar and Ana at the restaurant. Arturo and Geraldo (this is not the correct spelling of Geraldo) at the pool. Mauricio our butler. Laura at the lobby bar and Ana in the Devossion Club. And thank you Jorge for always making sure everything was perfect. Absolutely nothing.

My stay at Devossion was nothing short of amazing. What truly made this resort stand out was the staff. Every single employee I encountered went above and beyond and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Their level of service made me feel completely taken care of from start to finish. Even management checked on me several times throughout my stay to make sure everything was going well, which made the experience feel even more personal and thoughtful. I visited for my babymoon, and the staff acknowledged it throughout my entire stay. They even surprised me with thoughtful small gifts, which made the experience feel extra special. If you are celebrating a special occasion, this is absolutely the place to do it. The view from my room was breathtaking. I stayed in the Queen Premium Ocean View room, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The room was even bigger and nicer than the pictures online, which almost never happens. I also visited the spa three times, and every experience was incredible. The concierge team was equally impressive. I booked an excursion through the hotel, and they took a great deal of time explaining everything in detail and even called multiple companies to ensure they could properly accommodate me. The food was very good at every restaurant I tried. My favorite was Nami, the Asian restaurant. I am not usually a huge fan of Asian cuisine, but it was honestly some of the best I have had. The beds were also extremely comfortable, and housekeeping kept my room spotless the entire trip. Even if you were still in the room during cleaning time, they would happily return later. I have stayed at several all inclusive resorts, and this was by far one of the best, mainly because of the staff and how valued they made me feel throughout my stay. Overall, I would still give this resort a 10 out of 10 and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. The only downside, in my opinion, was the lack of activities and entertainment. There were only a few scheduled activities each day, and some did not end up happening. There were also no nightly shows like many resorts offer. Most evenings featured a DJ, and one night they had stand up comedy.

Without a doubt one of the best hotels I have stayed in.. Highly recommended. Everything is excellent. The food and quality are amazing. The infinity pool is excellent. The service from the staff is excellent. The location is within walking distance of the lively 5th Avenue of Playa del Carmen. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Noting

Staff was amazing. View and location were top notch. This is a little bit of a party hotel (nothing crazy like spring breakers)... a bit of an older crowd (40+) that had a good time in mind. Nothing. The pools were a bit loud with the DJ playing frequently but we had an excellent time. The music did make it lively, but one full week of that might be a bit much for some.

Customer service is A+, location, modern beautiful rooms, immaculate grounds, daytime vibe is fire. Night time vibe fizzles, hunger games for pool chairs on weekends.

I love this place. Everyone is so amazing and truly happy to work there. Everything was awesome. Mario in the restaurant, Arturo at the pool were my two favorite people. These two went so far above expectations I can’t even comment. Love this place thanks to the service. So many other wonderful people I can’t even remember. Everything was wonderful.

Love the layout of the hotel, the multiple pools were beautiful. Our room was amazing, clean, large and well thought out in functuanality and design. Enjoyed the restaurants, especially the Sushi, Grill and Cevice spots. Coffee/snack shop was great and available late. Staff was incredible, friendly, helpful and fun! I was very satisfied all the way around, the complaints we heard were that there is a lack of entertainment, I disagree as the hotel is for celebrations, and there is all the entertainment you can want a block away. The only negative as there was a white party next door that went into the ealry AM - and very loud - didn't bother us, but I bet there are guest that would not be so okay with it!

Great central location—walking distance to main pedestrian street beachfront resort; well appointed, modern, clean facilities and excellent service. Food was mediocre at best. Very limited choices at an all inclusive 5 star compared to other all inclusive 5 star resorts in playa del Carmen; buffet available only on NYE with very basic Mexican food.

Great staff, food, location, beach and location Housekeeping was a little sporadic but this is only a minor issue.

Wonderful suite with great sea view and bathroom that made us feel at home. The staff were friendly and helpful, in particular the butler service. They went out of their way to make our anniversary stay special. The speakeasy bar could benefit from some sound-absorbent material. The sound level in there was uncomfortable even with a small number of people. We were there at a busy time and the Grill struggled to manage the wait-time and did not offer bookings. One dish (pasta in the Italian restaurant) was not well cooked.

The hotel was beautifully designed and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was sometimes very noisy at night. Especially in the rooms closer to the ocean. The food was good but not great. The beach was very murky and trashy.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. Hotel is well maintained and service is beyond amazing. Breakfast and lunch were always great, dinner was sometimes tough.
