Stay very little. Only to sleep

The staff was great at this location and restaurants were superb The attempt of trying to swindle you into buying a property in one of their locations. For the price that was paid you would assume there would be more things included. As well as the pool being down without informed previously.
-
Good location, very good breakfast. Super nice, clean large rooms. Shower did not work perfectly. Weighting scale did not work. Toilet and shower are next to each other with clear glass so not much privacy.
-
LOCATION A la carte breakfast way too expensive. Went once. Had great breakfasts on fifyh ave for half the price.

Location Noise from nearby restaurant
-
Great location, good view from the pool, big rooms, communicative staff. Constantly tried to up sale. Tv didn’t work half the time and we kept calling them to fix it until we gave up. We sent our laundry and they said it will take 24 hours - it took much more than that and we were afraid that we won’t get it back before check out. And the worst thing- WiFi didn’t work at all in our room. To sum up - doesn’t worth the money.
-
Very central, it’s close to many restaurants and the beach. Leading vacation presentation.

Everyone is friendly. Perfect location very clean.
-
This was by far one of the worse all inclusive experiences I’ve endured in Mexico, the hotel only had a “select” set of food that was included in the all inclusive experience which excluded shrimp, steak, salmon etc.

I didn’t like it smell mold in the room

Location was good, and food was decent. Standout staff were Elizabeth at guest services, very helpful throughout our stay. Also, Antonio was a bellman and did his job well. I don’t remember the particular server's name but he worked at the snack bar on top floor. He was excellent! We booked a king room and that was confirmed at check in but when we were showed to our room, it was a double queen. Oscar at the front desk said he couldn't help us and they were sold out, but we could pay to upgrade. That was not a good way to start off our vacation.
-
It was located in such a beautiful and convenient location There was no room service
-
The room was clean but the smell of the cleaning materials was so strong we avoided asking for cleaning during the rest of our stay. There were not enough beds next to the pool and the double beds required extra pay.
-
The stuff was excellent. Loved everything.
-
No towels were left twice and body soap was empty and A/C was always too high

The Reef 28 is a great hotel with beautiful amenities. However we booked our stay at The Reef 28 with a full all-inclusive package. The photos advertised all-inclusive access to the sister hotels The Reef Coco Beach and The Reef Playacar, including transportation. Only at the hotel did we learn there is an extra fee per person and need to upgrade to the Elite-package. This was never disclosed on the Booking.com listing and is misleading. Booking.com offered no solution and kept shifting the responsibility. They have since updated the photos, which confirms the issue, but still provided no resolution for our case. It feels like a clear mistake on Booking.com’s side, yet they refuse to acknowledge it. Very disappointed.

Nothing to complain about.

The location No heated spa
-
The room is nice and spacious. The rooftop pool and bar is also nice. Location is great too, in the middle of Playa Del Carmen. The food and cocktails are not great. On a good day, it’s okay at best. The staff at the reception seemed incompetent at times when asked simple things or requests.
