I liked that if you've been to the beach and your feet are sandy, they have a place at the entrance you can wash them off before you enter the hotel & your room. Room was smaller than expected. However, since I was alone had I asked for a full size bed, there would have been a lot more space than there was with a king size bed that I had requested. My room had 3 bay windows, however they looked out into the hallway with people passing by so you had to keep the blinds closed at all times for any privacy. They do have rooms with other views and they have a few with balconies I just was not able to get one when I reserved a room.

We love this hotel. It’s centrally located on 5th avenue where the actions are, and it’s so close to ferry station. It’s very beautiful and rustic colonial style with a lovey balcony can over look partial of the sea, we love it. Very clean and the bed and strong AC made this hotel stands out. The restaurant below has great drinks and great food. We will stay here again. Because it’s a traditional 3-4 story building, there’s no elevators so older people have to watch the steps and stairs, especially in the night.

Near to “La Quinta Avenida” like 3 minutes walking from the beach, a lot of places to eat around, 5 minutes from the ADO station (turística) Everything was perfect the only thing that I can advise is the noise to us it was not a problem but if you can’t sleep with noise this is not for you, but if you don’t care every night you can watch from the balcony some performance since there is a restaurant under. (Was so cool seen Mayas, local dance and musicians) WiFi is slow but your in vacation so disconnect but if you need it for work best hours is early in the morning !! And you must try the local food from the restaurant underneath the staff is incredibly kind and the chefs food is to die for.

Very comfortable beds, clean and spacious rooms. Location is excellent for walking purposes but street noise can be a little loud. The noise was expected for the area. We had a very nice host who hooked us up with some spicy salsas. N/A

I would start with location which is fantastic. It is directly located on 5th avenue, just 2min from nice part of beach in Playa. This was for us important point due to gistic with kids. Just in front of hotel is 7-eleven opened 24h offering all basic things needed. Ferry marina is just 5min walking distance, which makes easier organisation to go to Cozumel island. Hotel is typical mexican stile building, let us felt to live in mexican house, what we liked. Since we had double bedroom, room itself was really comfortable. Sink is placed in sleeping part of the room, and we found it sympathic. Toilet and shower are as well comfortable. Tiles on the floor are as well made in local stile. They are not slipery at all, and it made a nice difference to us. Another important thing is safety. We have read different kind of reviews and we have had higher attention as we did not want to have any uncomfortable situation duriong our vacation. We felt in hotel very safe and comfortable, as the hotel stuff has shown us trustable attidude and we have built up good relationship. Safety box is available in the room upon request. We have got the towel cards and we have used hotel towels for time on beach. We have taken the towels every morning and have returned them in the evening. Stuff speaks good english and helped us with any logistic issue we had. Hotel does not have it’s own loundry, but there is good loundry service available just 3min walking distance from hotel. This helps to save on luggage quantity and weight. We have used hotel’s offer for transportation from Cancun airport and back. It was 100$ for each direction for 7 persons transportation. Hotel made booking with local transportaion company and it worked all well as described. We have choosen economical room without balcony, and this was the only thing we have not tought about. Room was placed in building corner where windows were looking to the are in front of the room, and natural air circulation is not optimal, but with fan and air-condition installed in the room, this was compensated. Swimming suites and other clothes were possible to let be dried on open roof top balcony.

The staff was helpful..we had a leak in our bathroom and they comped us a free meal The hotel is next to night clubs that play blaring music until 3-4am and we couldn't get a decent nights sleep
-
Not a negative, but the only welcome addition would be a common morning coffee bar & microwave.

Perfect location, friendly staff and efficient cleanings N / A

Excellent service althroughout. Definitely prime location for a budget. Perfect for solo travelers and couples. Restaurant on the ground floor also had the best chilaquiles I've had in a while. It didn't bother me, but some people may find that the noise from the street or ground level would be a disturbance.

I honestly loved this hotel, and it was great for a barebones experience! Gorgeous terrace throughout the hotel, and a little hard to find, but not bad off the main stretch! Lots of noise in the morning, but staff was very accommodating and welcoming for us. As stated before the noise level was a bit much. A barking dog, trucks moving things around town, and some drunks at night.

Cute boutique hotel, but basics not provided- in room phone, pool, ice, tissues. Staff were very kind and helpful. We had a room facing the busy street on the corner by Quinta Ave. Super noisy, lots of music throughout the nights, even on weekdays. Odd stairs throughout the hotel and in rooms- odd shaped and kept us tripping. Beds were comfy. No blackout curtains, most high windows were not covered, so morning light was bright. The TV was out the entire stay. They provided cute hangers, but difficult to use, no drawers so lived out of our suitcases. Excellent a/c! Cleaning service was based on request and was good, however the first day our hand towels were taken but never replaced. Carboncitos is on the first floor so it was great to hear the strolling Mariachi and Ballet flokorico dancers every night. Lovely rooftop area some parts shaded, nice view of the sea.
