Hotel Hacienda Maria Bonita

I liked the close proximity to 5th Ave and to the ADO bus station. The decor was beautiful! All good

Everything Noisy at night due to close proximity to clubs. Just bring earplugs.

All was great, noise from Coco Bongo but thats not under the hotels control. Anywhere in the core of centro you will get night noise. The hotel and staff were lovely

This is listed as a three star hotel, but at best is a one star. There is a club nearby with very loud music, sometimes until 4 in the morning. They don’t even have glasses. Staff was not very friendly.

I really enjoyed the value and location for this hotel. It was exactly what was needed for a few nights with a friend new to the area. I'd appreciated that the hotel would let us in slightly early and how they made a late check out available for a reasonable fee. I would definitely stay again. The exit it through the lobby and kind of feels like a strange way to be watched each time you go in and out... would be nice to have a key lock door somewhere else so you it felt a bit more private.

Decent hotel for the price , next to the busiest club and street in playa , so expect sounds and music all night up until 5 am ! Noisy

Its location. It’s close to Quinta Avenida… accessible to almost everything. The staff especially the receptionists, they’re not friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. There’s not enough power plugs, especially ones near the bed. One is in the bathroom, another across the foot of the bed, and one is in the small kitchen. Hassle!

The hacienda is absolutely charming and located perfectly for beach days, shopping and day trips. The staff are beyond wonderful! They were extremely helpful with our questions. The experience was full of warmth and authenticity.

It’s beautiful and location is proper. Friendly staff too. The room I got , the air conditioning was not working well. The ceiling fan did not work and had a hole on the ceiling.

Location Parking

On the main road, central to restaurants and other places etc Next to Coco bongo , so you will hear loud noise late into the night, most nights. Only one functioning power outlets in some rooms, no refrigerator.

La estadia rstuvo super cómoda, el hotel se encuentra en un área centrica, la habitaciones estaba limpia solo que el minibar no estaba conectado y no habia alguna conexión próxima, no lo ocupe pero a habra algún huésped que si.

We stayed in room 105 which was right by the pool. The only negative we had were the stairs. They definitely need an upgrade. A couple of the railings were loose or not connected. We made do.

I was really impressed by my stay I enjoyed every moment of my vacation there. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very pretty and they keep it very clean. Everything I wanted to do was within walking distance and there’s great food options around the area.

A lot of effort in the details of the facility Unhelpful man at reception forncheck-in No water dispenser in hotel Room was smelling moist everyday when entering the room and there was mold in the bathroom Both matrices had "holes" due to people sitting at the same position imit is overdue to change those Under the mattresses was a concrete support, with no possibility for the air to circulate. Floor was sandy in the room everyday despite daily cleaning towels were changed every day even when not used (and not when towels were on the floor as it is generally the case)

Colourful is the best. People on the front desk did not like.

Close to 5th avenue and bars/ restaurants without being noisy. Very colourful fun decor. The room smelt strongly of mould and damp, although we couldn’t see any. The scuba diving school used the small pool for their training
