Riviera Maya Suites

The location was top notch ?? easy walk to the beach, shopping, grocery store, nightlife - everything was practically on our doorstep! Zero complaints on this property.

Very good location (close to 5th ave yet peaceful), huge rooms, relaxing compound (nice pool, lots of trees and plants) There were areas from our room to the lobby without any roof so we got wet when it rained. They also do not have umbrellas that you could borrow so it would be best to bring one.

The location was perfect! It’s hard to find something that I didn’t like about the property.

This place was fantastic. We had a two-bedroom apartment. It was huge. There was a large living room, kitchen, laundry room with washer and dryer, and then two roomy bedrooms. One had a comfortable king bed and the other had either two twins or two doubles, I can't remember. Both were en suite. The air conditioning was really effective and could be left one when you're not in the room (big bonus in Mexico) and the water pressure was fine. The apartment had a huge balcony going all around so it was accessible from the living room and both bedrooms, and there were chairs and a hammock on it. We didn't cook in the kitchen so I can't comment on the quality of the cooking utensils. There was a big water cooler just for the apartment. The location is great, right on the corner of the primary tourist street and not way down on a far end, either. Parking was in a totally secure area beneath the building, so the car remained cool while parked and you could go straight from the parking lot in the elevator up to the room. There was a pool. It wasn't huge, but was nice. I suspect there are multiple pools across the various buildings. I honestly can't think of anything. I was totally surprised by this apartment -- it was the size of a place you'd be happy to live in permanently, and that's very unusual in apartments that are permanently rented to tourists.

My room was too close to 5ta avenida super loud ant night.

Giant clean room, two gorgeous pools, close to lots of food and shops. The suite we had was huge. Two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, living room and kitchen. Like some other reviews said, it's very loud outside. We requested a garden view suite which they said would be the quietest, and it was still very loud between 9 and 11pm. But thats to be expected in PDC. Also, I wish they had breakfast or something. Just some simple yogurt and fruit would be nice.

Our suite was very spacious! We enjoyed the amenities. We enjoyed the entire property. The location to 5th avenue was great!

We really enjoyed the closeness to all there was to see. The apartment was perfect with a lovely balcony to enjoy the jungle scenery. Parking and 24 hour check in very helpful!

Riviera Maya Suites is perfectly located just off the main street, and two blocks from the beach. You can easily jump into the mix, walk around, get to restaurants and bars, or have a calmer day by the beach or by one of their two pools. They offer beach chairs, which is an amazing perk because some of the beach clubs are very expensive. The pools were lovely and well kept. They were beautiful and calming. We also worked with the hotel for airport transportation, as well as transportation for activities and they were so accommodating! I was here with a large group and we absolutely loved our stay! A really amazing bonus were the concierge cats, Jimmy and Coco, that greet you when you arrive.

Each bedroom in the penthouse had a bathroom which was very convenient. Even though it wasn’t beach front, there was a partnership with a beach club nearby and beach towels and chairs were provided upon request. There was loud music on the weekend from the rooftop bar across the street which was overbearing, but it turned off by 10 pm.

That it didn't have a cafe, restaurant or ice available on premises. Or a coffee maker in the room

Nothing it was perfect

The property was spacious and super comfortable and clean, I also loved swimming pool area. Kitchen had all we needed, two large bedrooms with twin beds in the second one and rooftop patio was amazing Apparently, there are two buildings and our apartment 305 was in the building on str5 with all the restaurants and noise. The restaurant under our windows had live music every night and it was extremely loud. I had a feeling the musicians were playing just at my bedroom, absolutely no noise isolation in the apartment. So, for family with kids is a NO. They have other suites facing pool or other side, I am sure it helps with the problem. Earplugs should be provided (I always travel with mine, and of course they helped to reduce only 50% of sound) .

Beautiful scenery in the middle of a city. Close to the beach. Pool plus jacuzzi.

Right next to the 5th Ave walking area. The apartment was very spacious and had everything you would need. The pool area was nice for a little relaxation. Staff was very friendly and helpful. At night you could hear the live music until 2am, but that’s to be expected if you’re that close to 5th Ave.
