Very noisy property - both from the street and the hotel itself - loud music, loud staff outside my door, loud ac in the room- the generator is in the room Terrible breakfast - no buffet - just to order Poor communication from staff - Phones in rooms disconnected so you can’t call reception No services on property Our rooms were downgraded , they did not inform us prior and they keep saying they compensated us but they did not, they refunded an unfair amount. One of the worst hotels I have stayed in

Air condition very loud in the room Staff are rude and not trained and will stand outside your door at 7:30am and be loud. The street is very loud with a bar every single day until 1am. There is much better options in playa del Carmen!

Don’t stay here if you want luxury. It’s in a noisy area, the ac is noisy, the staff will stand outside your room and be noisy. And we got downgraded into regular rooms when we booked suits months in advance. It says all inclusive but it’s not

Good on-site facilities, good choice of restaurants and bars, close to the town centre, pleasant staff. Our room was spacious and modern. Resort grounds are always kept clean. I would personally like more details about day trips and excursions on line. The resort website directs you to the excursion desk, which is fine. I would find an overview of options and schedule on line helpful.

Staff were very friendly. They accommodated our poor Spanish very well! The location technically is very good (as in, central), however, this also means it's very noisy. Lobby looked very nice, but this wasn't reflected in the room or breakfast area, unfortunately. We were given a free upgrade (booked double, were given a junior suite) on arrival, but when we entered the room we felt like this was a major downgrade (we had stayed in the hotel the week before, in a double room). There were major stains on the sofa, and only 2 bath towels (no hand towels or towel for floor). Both taps (there were 2 sinks) didn't work properly and caused huge puddles on sink and floor. Lighting in the room was terrible (basically only 2 bedside lamps), and the view was to construction work next door. However, the worst part was the noise. Both times we stayed was a Sunday evening, and there is live music (a band and 'singer') at a venue close by (don't know exactly where). It sounded like they were playing right in the room, up until around 2am (both nights). With absolutely zero soundproofing, it was extremely loud (and the singer sounded like she was screaming) all night. The previous room (from the week before) was better, although quite dated looking, and we had found a cockroach in the shower. Despite the lobby looking very nice, the breakfast area leaves much to be desired. It's outdoors (it was raining the entire time of our stay), and very poor quality (looked like cheap plastic garden furniture). There were no vegan options - the first time we stayed we asked for chia pudding without honey, we were given a bowl of almond milk with some chia seeds in it (not enough to set!); the 2nd stay we went into town for breakfast.

Room was nice although could do with some updating Didn't have reservation at check in Wrong information around dinner resulted in us paying 2800mxn for dinner that we didn't need to Food poor, menu limited and limited availability of restaurants. Stayed here previously when it was the Live Aqua, hotel has massively lost its way under hilton. Food and beverages are of the standard I would expect at a 3 star hotel. No plans for when there is rain. Stayed in the reef 28 the week prior for less money and it was head and shoulders above the Yucatan Resort.

The personnel working at this resort are absolutely amazing. They were helpful, kind and always smiling. They offered us an early check-in as well as a late check-out and we were able to make use of the all-inclusive services until 5 pm. The resort is very clean, the food is amazing (it is a la carte, so it's fresher) and the location is perfectly located on 5th avenue. We are looking forward to coming back!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were good and the beds were really comfortable. Rooms were clean. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The food and drinks were very good. The convenient location near Quinta Avenida, the beach, and the ferry to Cozumel was perfect. We also had a great experience with Paul, the hotel concierge who helped us plan a couple day trips. The service at the two restaurants was often slow. It would be best to have clear instructions for toilet paper usage.

Passable

Overall an okay stay, in Playa del Carmen. The positives were the room was very clean, the shower was great, air conditioning was nice and cold and most of the food we ate was pretty good! In particular the tuna tartare. However, there were some substantial negatives. Firstly despite advertising three restaurants one is only open a couple of nights, the second is a breakfast cafe. The biggest issue is that none of the dining venues have wet weather options so if it is raining your only option if you want to make the most of the “all inclusive” package is it eat and drink in your room. The cocktails were average at best, some tasting genuinely bad and others were decent but all were very weak. Also although they said they had multiple beers eg Dos Equis Lager and amber ale and Tecate they only had the amber ale in stock for the whole stay. The pictures of the superior room also have a balcony but our room did not have a balcony.

Great location right on 5th avenue ,I liked the model of their all inclusive in which one could order meals off the menu as oppose to a buffet . Cocktails created by the bar staff were equally amazing Had a fault with aircon for two nights but these things happen

The rooms are very clean and the location is good. No entertainent, not worthed pay all Inclusive just 2 restaurant and one of them asia with horrible sushi, my advice is to get only the room Or with breakfast ALLINCLUSIVE IS NOT WORTHED TRUSTE ME!!!! They are keeping show you adverts and picture that belong to hilton and tho say that is by hilton has nothing to do with hilton.

It was very good. Everything was mice and it’s in the city center. The food was very nice. The breakfast is really extensive. They made us cocktails or juice mix. The people there were really nice They could have had more options for lunch like pizza and sushi

I really enjoyed the food at the Yucatan Resort and the staff was amazing! Really getting some good locations from the staff, super friendly and accommodating the entire time! I liked the location as it was very easy and accessible to go anywhere in Playa. The only thing I didn't like was that there were two different restaurants, and you had to book for one of them to get sushi. I wish I could have a full menu experience because when I was there, the other restaurant filled up fast, and I couldn't experience that side of the restaurant. Other than that, there was nothing I really didnt like about the place besides the extremely hot elevators. lol
