The 2 pools and roof are amazing as well as the rooms, everything is spotless clean

- the room was really nice, clean, and comfortable. - I enjoyed the rooftop pool but it was much smaller than the images convey. - They charge you for water bottles. They don’t have anywhere you can fill up on water and they use this as a strategy to get more money out of you. - They also provide a room key that is easy to lose by design (imo). It’s a chip and a tiny ribbon that easily slips out of your swim trunks. They charge 100 mxn for a replacement.

The front desk staff. They were all amazing and kind and even before I arrived, they were very responsive and accommodating. I wanted to make a special shoutout to one of the girls but I forgot her name sorry! I believe it starts with letter K… you’re an angel! Thank you so much! Anyway, building is secure and there’s someone 24/7. Room is super spacious, bed was comfy and for the most part room was clean. The shower was very strong, I was worried about this from some reviews but I had no issues with mine. Housekeeping is not daily but you can request whenever you need room refresh. A/C and ceiling fan worked perfectly and I like that they have a full size mirror! Oh and blackout blinds! It was generally clean but I kept noticing sheets were always stained and white towels provided were almost yellow. I never used them but I think those should no longer be provided for guests. Then I started noticing bites on my leg then hips.. so I had a feeling there might be bed bugs because this is only the second time I’ve experienced this. Front desk was very alert and checked it right away. I was about to leave in a few days so I didn’t want to change rooms though I was worried about my clothes so I had to wash all of them before packing and I moved my luggage away from the bed. Then housekeeping came to check and change sheets but she kept removing whatever she was finding on the sheets and mattress to the floor and kept telling me there’s nothing. She couldn’t have been more dismissive lol! There was only one housekeeper who was nice but the other lady who cleaned my room the very few times I asked and checked the bed made me feel uncomfortable, like I was bothering her. Another thing I didn’t like is they were very very loud outside and you could hear everything, woke me up almost every day. And they also knock like the police, too loud lol! I got woken up one time so someone from the internet/cable company can check the modem in my room. I literally just woke up and a stranger was in my room looking at the modem for about 25mins. I don’t think that should’ve happened? Lol. Anyway, no elevators but I didn’t mind this plus I requested to be on ground level anyway. It also says here there’s a gym but there is none so just be aware of that too.

I booked through bookings. com and the price was exactly what I was looking for and Coco Live Suites was exactly what I needed.. clean and comfortable and a great place to relax at the end of the night after visiting family and sites all day. Perfect location, only a couple of walking blocks near all the people and places ( 5th Ave, Oxxo, Mega Supermarket+ restaurants..) that I needed to be... I come to Playa del Carmen for a week once a year to visit family...I will be back

The location is perfect. This wasn’t my first time staying there and definitely not last. Everything was good.

Everything was exactly how it looked, water was hot in and pressure was great in the shower. Staff was great and the location is awesome between local spots and 5th ave.

Good location. Excellent staff. The room was clean but could use a little fresh paint. The bed sheets did not seem to fit correctly exposing the vinyl mattress cover.

It’s a good price for a good sized room. Feels safe. The other guests were very friendly. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable. All of them. The staff didn’t clean my room even when I had the “please clean” sign on it all day.

wow what a difference from the previous place I was staying at. I had my eye on this Frida Khalo inspired hotel for a few years. It lived up to my expectations and more. I had so much light in my place it was wonderful. The size of the room is big enough you could have a living room space beside the bed, and as there is a comfy chair provided thats what I did. complete with AC great hot showers. Micro wave . I know but you'd be surprised how many places leave you with a toaster oven to reheat your coffee. Not working. And right across the street from best market in Playa. My door was a little worse for wear. I would creat a bit more ambiance on the ground floor. Landscaping. There's lots of plants and it's nice. But I would go more. That's all the nitpicking I have. Enjoy.

I liked this room and the rooftop pool! Great AC and convenient kitchen.

A great value. Room is nice size everything is clean and quiet. Can walk to 5th ave. Only thing that was lacking was staff they were just transactional. There was a little language difficulty but I felt like I was bothering them when I went to check in and out.

Very affordable, easy to get to the main drag. Very loud, not great for privacy (including other people's - there was a very active couple right next door to us), music played til late. Felt a bit grotty - hair in the shower.
