Clean, cheap, close to bus stations and shopping. Spacious rooms with balconies. Shower was hot with a decent pressure. Amenities are quite basic, you get what you pay for. No fridge or chairs in the room. Proximity to a central square often means noise.

Clean rooms and quiet at night even though fairly close to 5th Ave.

The staff are always helpful and the location is perfect.

I have stayed at this location on previous trips. Everything was as expected. Clean, hot water and awesome staff. No breakfast but coffee is provided most times. Only a half a block from 'Palicio Municipal' where many festival activities occur. I recommend this location. The only glitch this time was the wifi was connecting intermittently in the room I had but it was not an issue (for me) as I simply used my phone as a hotspot during those times.

Super convenient location, affordable, very comfortable bed, clean facilities, great hot running water, great AC, giant TV with Netflix. Very noisy from outside bars and clubs until around midnight every night

Only good thing about this place is the friendly front desk staffs. Location is great but it’s next to a square with music events constantly. Room is sad, old and windows are broken, stuffed with paper. Rooms are big though but feels depressing. It’s just a bit rundown. There are many modern apartment hotels around look so much better than this (from the outside). No I won’t stay here again. No breakfast fyi.

Cheap accommodation in Playa del Carmen My room had termites. I raised this with the staff and they said they would check about potential compensation. Then I never heard back although I checked several times and even contacted them through booking. The location is a bit far from the Main Street of Playa del Carmen, felt not the safest coming back at night.

The room was big, the bed was confortable. The staff was nice and I really liked the location. Close to everything, a lot of restaurants and convenience stores around. The walls of the building, the room and balcony were very dirty. And it was really noisy (from places outside, from I believe the ac exterior machines, etc).

+ Big room and comfortable bed with a good location in the city. Good pressure in the shower and the water gets very hot. - Dirty! I have no idea how this hotel has such a high rating or how so many people have reviewed this hotel and mentioned how clean it is! Dirty stains on the bed sheets and on the towels. The room was not properly clean. There was poo in the toilet that wasn't flushed (which means the cleaners didn't even clean the toilet considering they didn't even see it wasn't flushed). The AC smells bad when turned on. A little black mold in the corners in the ceiling. The mosquito screen was broken. And the noise level is VERY high! Yes it's in the middle of the city but the room is not properly sealed. There's a gap between the doorframe and the wall of about 0,5 cm that goes along almost the whole right side from which you can clearly see the light from outside after closing the door. Which ofcourse also means lots of sound gets inside.

There was the carnival party on the plaza right next to the hotel, so it was very loud but that's not the hotels fault. our room was facing towards the pool so it was okay inside. At least the roads around the hotel were closed for cars. Apart from that it was a pleasant, uncomplicated stay.
