The shower pressure was not as good as one would hope. Also no fridge in room which would be ideal for refreshments and leftovers.

The location was great. The hotel entrance is off of 5th ave. In order to enter the hotel lobby you must walk thru and to the back of the wonderful Fah Restaurant which is on the ground level. This is the restaurant that will give you breakfast in the morning. This restaurant has a great menu, drinks and live music until 1am . If you want alot of sleep this is not the hotel for . The music from the restaurant below will keep you awake if you are a light sleeper. There were 2 sets of earplugs in the room on arrival. I was in room 304 which faced the courtyard. Nice balcony. The hotel does not have an elevator. The staff is fantastic. The young man in the office carried my suitcase up to The 3rd floor for me. The room was clean and large. I paid for 2 beds. The air-conditioning worked well . The biggest problem with this hotel is that it does not have an elevator and it has four floors. The hotel on its website also shows a picture of a swimming pool. The Siesta Fiesta hotel does not have a pool . The pool that it shows on its website is the pool that belongs to the hotel next door and you're not allowed to use it. This hotel doesn't have a pool. Location, Wonderful staff, restaurant, are the properties greatest strengths.

Location, fun Noice, however you are on 5th Ave. We expected the noice. Room had earplugs, we didn't need to use them.
-
Simple but cozy decor, balcony with ambient lighting. Live music from the bar below. Great location, very close to the clubs and most plazas. The breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful and polite It's a little small. There was a loud humming noise coming from upstairs. The door handle is very loose. The bathroom sink is tiny.

The floors need to be sealed with wax, scary areas with sharp edges. Furniture outdated
-
they were under construction. my room was missing a safe. they relocated to a better room. the hot water didn't work well. the shower was minimal.
-
Receptionist was very helpful! Was difficult to find, didn’t have clear instructions warning of this or sign to find from the street
-
Problems with toilet, stinky and mouldy. Very louis from surrounfing bars

Great location and couldn't beat the value. Maybe it was low season in February so the room was only $45. Or maybe just a great price. The room had two comfy beds, balcony, mini fridge and nice bathroom.

Location, price good. Staff awesome. No wifi sometimes for days. No water often every day for a few hours. Too noisy, bar next door at night ( I knew that) and constant construction on sight from light until dark for 6 days a week.

Nothing alll bad
-
Location, the price breakfast was exceptional but not many choices. Made orders not buffet style and it’s around everything Grounds and pool need upkeep and remodel
-
All was good, keep in mind that it is a party area, this comes with quite some noice.

Looks cute The play hard rock music at ridiculous volumes all day and late into the night. And two night clubs are a block from the place, vibrating through the room until 3:30 am. The place stank of mildew, there was no hot water and the window to my room didn’t lock.

Good location The room we were given was in a deplorable condition. The floors were chipping and cracked and in horrible condition. The bathroom was horrible even worse didn’t shower once with shoes off that’s how bad. Room 202 was terrible and did not let us switch rooms after asking.
-
Very well located by the main pedestrian road of Playa Del Carmen - Because of its location, loud music until 2am and due to poor insulation, very difficult to fall asleep - Unfriendly, unhelpful staff - Old and poorly maintained hotel (misleading outdated pictures of when the hotel and rooms looked good) - Mosquitoes in the room (solution: buy cheap insect repellent plug like Raid as the staff will not help) - Tiny bathrooms with rarely available hot water
-
I love the place but steps are slippery when wet

We have stayed at this hotel three times in the past because we like it and the location is fantastic. Unfortunately this will be our last stay. We were there 5 nights and had to switch rooms 4 times. Complete disaster. First room had water leak. Second room had a scorpion. Third room had a flood and wet all our luggage. Fourth room was good. I think they are in the middle of doing some remodeling, which is good, but the rooms they kept putting us in were disasters. Also no hot water, extremely low pressure, several days no water which I assume is the fault of the city. The electrical outlets were a hazard. The blades of the fans curved down because they were so old. Light outside our door didn’t work so it was hard to find the keyhole at night. Please do better Siesta Fiesta! You were a good place to stay in the past!!
