Ww liked the cleanliness and the room's decor. The location is not good at all next to a busy road, and the town of Herradura is actually a tourist's trap. There's nothing to really do except for man made activities in an awful place that doesn't represent the real beauty of Costa Rica. A tourist's trap indeed.

Very nice room. Restaurant on premises had good food and had dog friendly outdoor seating. Walking distance to beach.

Toilet didn’t work in original room. They moved us. Lamps didn’t work in second room. They changed the lamps. Weird problems to have for a hotel.

We had a huge room with pretty nautical decor. The restaurant onsite, Peppers, was delicious. The staff were so friendly and the pool was perfect for the kids. You can walk ten minutes or drive to la playa herradura. You can drive to Jaco in ten minutes, playa blanca or Tarcoles in 30 min. Parking is easy but not covered so will get hot.

Great location. Very friendly staff There was fecal matter on the wall behind our toilet dispenser and the bathroom door was filthy. The maids did not clean either nor did they replace the toilet paper. I had to go to the office in the morning to request toilet paper. The mattresses are extremely firm and the bedding was not cozy. When I booked the ad reflected a pool bar. Upon check in the bar was empty. I questioned it and the next day there was a few beers and sodas stocked but not an actual bartender

Unfortunately I was not able to have breakfast because I left too early to fish.

The food at the restaurant was great. Peppers is the restaurant name. Rosie was our server upon multiple occasions - she was excellant. The seafood soup here is good as well. The road noise from the road. It would be impossible to totally block out the noise from motorcycles and such on the road. No room on the property could do this. It is located directly across from Los Suenos resort making it excellent value for fishing at their marina.

The staff, the adjacent restaurant, the parking and the rooms were great. The location isnt bad, but not great. We go to Costa Rica to experience the bio diversity. Not as much at this location as further south

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were lovely and helpful throughout. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The restaurant offered a great selection of meals. The massages and facial we received were exceptional. And the pool just steps away from our door was the perfect way to start and end the day. Thank you to Michelle and the rest of the Paradise Hotel team for making us feel so welcome and at ease. We can't wait to return one day!

Breakfast is not that bad. There many choices in Menu! The hotel looks nothing like the photos. The rooms smell very damp, and you have to walk to get to the beach, which is quite dirty and feels unsafe.

Transportation to and from the beach and bicycles advertise on the internet were not available

It's an excellent choice close to the beach, supermarkets, and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything is very well maintained. We had a great time.

The room was super nice. Loved the pool and the restaurant mi

Their free breakfast turned out to be a menu of predetermined meals that were very good. We were there to attend events at the Marriott resort so the location was excellent. The room itself was large with a kitchen area and a separate seating area. Bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi was good. Staff was very good. Hot water and a shower was excellent however could not get hot water at either sink.

Excellent place. Clean, safe, good food. Good value for money. Without a doubt, highly recommended.

This hotel is a hidden gem: close to the beach, with a nice, modern rooms and a swimming pool / jacuzzi on site. Breakfast is amazing: lot's of options to choose from, including typical Costa-Rican dishes or continental. The staff is nice and very welcoming. It's a kids-friendly place and they provide cots on request. The restaurant on-site offers great, reasonably priced meals. And they have a spa, offering massages and various treatments. The only thing they are missing is drying facilities for the swimwear. It's hard to dry it in the room after a beach day.
-
This is an unexpected, modern hotel within walking distance of the beach. The rooms are on one side of the hotel and the other side is a swimming pool and restaurant. The restaurant had the best breakfast we had in the two weeks we were in Costa Rica. The food was artistically presented and cooked to perfection. The room was large and very well designed.
