This charming guest house is located just a few yards from Migjorn Beach, in Es Ca Marí. These whitewashed buildings have an attractive terrace with great sea views. The modern rooms at Hostal Aigua Clara feature a private terrace with hammocks and views of the garden and the sea. Each one has a desk, a safe and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. The Aigua Clara has a games room with board games, where Wi-Fi access is free. There is a bar service, so you can enjoy a drink on the terrace. Migjorn also has several restaurants within a 5-minute walk. The surrounding beaches are great for windsurfing and sailing, and you can also hire scuba diving equipment. Car and bicycle rental services are available nearby. La Savina is a 10-minute drive from Hostal Aigua Clara. Here you can get a ferry to Ibiza or Dénia.

The location of the Hostal is great - near the beach, with good views of the sea and it is peaceful and pleasant. The beaches close by are fantastic and there are plenty of good local restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets and where the staff were welcoming and friendly. Bike hire is also available very close by. There is very little on the site of the Hostal itself by way of facilities. I was not prepared for the overall offering of the Hostal to be quite so sterile and unwelcoming. There is a pleasant open area on the ground floor, where breakfast is served, but that area was not well used and, given that there was no bar, its use as a communal area, other than at breakfast time, was not encouraged or promoted - a missed opportunity, I felt. On top of this, as a solo traveller, I would have welcomed some guidance about all sorts of matters, including bike hire, local restaurant recommendations and whether it was possible to get a drink at the bar at the large hotel next door (it was not, I discovered, after doing my own research - the hotel next door strictly serves residents only, which seemed to me to be a totally wasted commercial opportunity, both on the part of the hotel and the Hostal itself). There was one junior member of staff at the Hostal - Neus - who was friendly and kind and did her best with me but she had no real authority or experience at anticipating what I might have needed in terms of extra support. No other staff had any interest in interacting with me, including the lady who I believe is the owner. I found this staggering. In short, it would have been nice to have felt embraced and welcomed by this Hostal and all of its staff but unfortunately I did not feel that at all.
