Gorgeous modern room with a charming sea view! Very comfortable bed and pillows. Amazing pool area and wonderful staff attention. The room was situated where you needed to traverse a few sets of stairs - some up some down to access the room. The closest parking lot was down a very steep incline under the hotel.

My wife and I were really pleased we stayed at Hotel Edan. Podstrana is not far to Split but still has restaurant's, take away food and mini marts close by. The hotel and room were delightful, the staff pleasant and the food in their onsite restaurant top notch. We would highly recommend Hotel Edan.Hotel

I will be giving my review for a 4-star hotel, which I have high expectations for. The room was very large, comfortable. Thanks to the staff, the courses had brought compliments (champagne and fruits). The view from the room was charming, it's hard to imagine a more beautiful view. The room was bright, the breakfast was delicious. The restaurant staff was very charming, responsive and I am grateful to them for really taking care of us and helping me, who was sick. There were parking spaces available at the hotel, it was not a problem to park the car. The food in the restaurant was very tasty. Overall, our visit was uneven. The ceiling light in our room didn't work, which we reported to the reception - it wasn't fixed. Also, the heaters didn't work, which made it very cold the first night and evening. The whole time I had the feeling that the hotel was trying to save money because the tourist season was over. Sometimes there was warm water in the shower, sometimes there wasn't. We complained about the room heating several times, thanks to the restaurant staff who stepped in and helped resolve it. The rest of the time the room was warm, but it was not clear whether it was fixed or not. We were provided with an extra blanket and a kettle, which helped to warm up. The weather in Croatia was not warm, so that was important. The reception staff (several times) said that it would be resolved, but no one came to us and said whether it had been fixed or not. We had to go and ask ourselves. Also - the outdoor pool is not heated, which we were not informed about when we went for a swim. In order to visit the sauna and jacuzzi inside, you have to turn it on yourself and wait for it to heat up, which, in my opinion, is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. In the end, it turned out that you can order at the reception that they turn it on for a certain time. We would have been grateful if this information had been given at check-in, not in the middle of our vacation. Due to the cold pool, the long wait for the sauna to heat up, the room was cold all night - it helped me get sick on the first night of our stay. Overall, we liked the hotel, but it is clear that it should be visited in the summer season, not in the winter. The attitude of the restaurant staff was very good.

Staff were excellent. Very attentive to all needs, helpful but not overbearing. Location was fantastic, rooms clean, comfortable and the view is just great. Overall we were really happy with our stay and highly recommend Hotel Eden.

The location was good, and the breakfast was fabulous! The view overlooking the coastline from the outdoor restaurant and pool area was stunning! I didn’t like that the room we were initially to stay in was downstairs. It felt like you were staying in a basement. Although having said that, the accommodations down there were first class! They were really beautiful and clean and modern.

The hotel was very nice and th view and sunset was incredible. One room was as expected but the 2nd room was upgraded. The pool was wonderful. Our waitress at dinner was great. The front desk wasn't very friendly or helpful. The hotel was on a very busy street and getting out of the parking lot was difficult thus forcing us to eat at the hotel more than we wanted. Couldn't drive around to find suitable restaurants. The beach in front of the hotel was very rockie and hard to get into the water.

Absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel in Split. We had a sea view and our view looked exactly like the picture advertised. Breakfast was the best of our two week trip. Staff were amazing and welcoming. Using the pool lounge area was impossible (we tried for two days) - it’s too small for the size of the hotel and people camped out there all day. It’s also about a 10 minute walk to a beach with lounge chairs, swimming, etc. We ended up just walking down to the beach area at Le meridian and paying for chairs and the use of their pools. Not a big deal, but something to consider.

Fresh breakfast and well attended by staff; outdoor pool are is fantastic amenity; location is away from bustling crowds of tourists! Challenge to journey from hotel to near restaurants or other near areas; needed rental car.
