From the moment I landed in Pokhara, Hotel Lake Shore went above and beyond. Sanjog, the hotel manager, picked me up from the airport, gave me a tour of the city on the way. The room was beautiful — I was upgraded to a lake-view room on a higher floor, which made every morning and evening feel like a treat. The location is ideal: quiet enough to rest properly, but within easy walking distance of the lake shore and restaurants. What makes this hotel stand out isn't just the facilities — it's the people. The staff here genuinely enjoy looking after guests. Sanjog in particular has a warmth and attentiveness that's rare. He was proactive throughout my stay, checking in at the right moments without being intrusive. Pokhara is a city I want to come back to, and when I do, I won't be looking anywhere else to stay.

Sanjog did his absolute best to make our stay the most confortable possible The location is at walking distance from the lake yet, still quiet. Nice tours and trips offers are availaible from the hotel · The bathroom of our room had a really bad smell coming from the evacuation. The first day, they tried cleaning the drain of the sink but it didn't change much. To their credit, Sanjog offered us to change room. When we gave them our laundry on arrival around 2.00pm, they said it would be ready next day morning around breakfast. Then at Breakfast for 12.00, and then I had to insist again around 4.00pm to get it back. Almost all of our clothes were there after 12 days of Trekking and we would have appreciate to get them earlier (otherwise we would have used another shop to do it). The rooms are pretty basic for the price we paid 50$/night

Great service and attentiveness of the staff. Sanjog specially was very helpful from helping with taxi booking from Kathmandu to Pokhara and airport transfers. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Pokhara -

Clean, great view from the rooftop and nice sized rooms. What really makes this hotel standout in the customer service and people working there. By far the best experience I’ve with a hotel staff in my life! Nothing

Sanjog, the hotel manager, was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to take care of us. The included breakfast is excellent, and the rooms are perfectly equipped.

Probably one of the most amazing hotel stays! Hotel Lake Shore, Let's start with its location. The hotel is extremely close to Fewa Lake, and you can literally enjoy a breathtaking landscape every single moment of your stay. But the best thing about our stay at this hotel was Sanjog, the Operations Manager of the hotel. From our very arrival, he has been there checking up on us, making sure we had all the amenities we need. Whenever there was some problem that needed to be sorted out, he was there instantly. Sanjog seemed like he really cared about our comfort and well-being and did everything to make us feel comfortable and relaxed during our stay. Breakfasts every morning were delicious and a fantastic way to begin the day and When our stay came to an end, Sanjog offered to drive us to the airport himself! Definitely recommend this hotel and especially Sanjog. Don't hesitate to book the room there – it will be worth it! ? We loved everything about this hotel.

Very disappointing experience with the front desk staff (Nirjala). Despite being a returning guest and clearly requesting a room with a good view, I was assigned a dark ground-floor room with poor conditions. I was told that better rooms were only available if I booked multiple nights, which felt unreasonable. I chose not to stay and moved to another nearby hotel, where the service and room quality were significantly better.

This is a must stay when visiting Pokhara because its friendly staff to give the best attention all the time night and day. Sanjog the operation manager takes care of all details even before you arrive to Pokhara by picking up from the bus station, making sure you have a warm stay and paying attention to your daily activities and to your next destination. He took me to clinic and was concern about my health during hospital visits. One of the best attention and hotel manager I have ever met. Thank you Sanjog for all the help. I will recommend this hotel and I will come back again!

Clean, bright reception & restaurant with comfortable rooms. Lots of hot water, kettle and tea/coffee were appreciated. Tasty, generous breakfast too. We were pleased to get transportation from the airport with friendly Sanjog. Overall a delightful place to stay in Pokhara, Nepal! All good!!

Great location, sparkling clean rooms. Perfect location. That I couldn’t stay longer…
-
Great location near good restaurants and lakeside but quiet. really helpful, accommodating staff who went out of their way to help - from lending me an umbrella one morning to booking activities/excursions. The room was spotless, so comfortable and felt like luxury to rest in after a few days of sickness. Maybe there could be some more sound insulation between the rooms and corridor/stairway

Where do I start…. The manager Sanjog was amazing he helped us organize 3 buses, which places to go, every morning he was there at breakfast & last thing at night his attention to detail was impeccable, not to mention his staff were also amazing, the hotel is immaculate, the breakfasts were well presented and beautiful no matter what we chose to eat, Sanjog made this experience one to remember, I would suggest if you are ever in Pokhara this is by far the place to stay. “It’s good to see that people still make a difference “ Absolutely nothing

Amazing staff. Great location. Quiet and near the mellow part of the lake. Nice hotel.
-
Everything is perfect! The manager is soooo kind. He gave us a lot of help during our stay. The hotel is located on a quite street where you can see snow mountain one side and lake on the other.
-
Nice location and views. And most important, the staff here are amazing. Sanjog, the receptionist, the waiter, the cleaner are so friendly and helpful, make the trip much more easier. Good information, help to arrange the tours with good price. Free upgrade to bigger room if needed and if stay longer, free transportation to the airport Not even a thing

Rooms from the 2nd floor and up has views of both the lake and the mountains. Nice breakfast. The staff is very helpful and serviceminded.
-
The best thing was the staff. Very informative and helpful. All was fine.

The location is perfect, close enough to the lakeshore area so that everything you need is within reach, but just outside of the mayhem part so it’s relatively quiet. And of course the Mountain View from the balcony.
