Amazing property beautifully restored from a 17th century farm. The views from the property and surrounding the property are breathtaking. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious! Staff was always very helpful. We loved everything!

Absolutely loved the property, the restaurant was superb for dinners & Breakfast. Peaceful rural location. Friendly staff, amazing grounds and landscape, distant sea views, everything brand new. Pools were not heated, both personal and resort, not good as weather cooled. Charges to use sauna. Rooms and bathrooms small especially the suites.

We stayed 3 nights with another couple and were sad to leave. Breakfast was great. Pretty room. Great view! Loved the resident donkey, Roberto! Also ate twice in the beautiful dining room. Great food and service. 2 beautiful pools overlooking the Adriatic. Hard to get in and out of our bed.

Wonderful setting on a working estate. Bright outdoor lights outside our doors kept on all night. Curtains didn’t block the light very well.

Exceptional

We had an amazing time - the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The setting is beautiful, overlooking trees and fields with the sea in the distance. The staff were all friendly, helpful and made us at feel at ease. We had some great conversations with staff, and the cocktails at the bar served were amazing. We were really sad to leave, and would definitely come back. Nothing except it would have been great to have a bath in the room :)

From the moment we arrived we knew this was a special place. It started with the welcome at reception and the tour of the property and our rooms. We were a group of 11 ranging in age from 23 - 60 and we all felt comfortable and relaxed during our stay. Our breakfasts were delicious as were the poolside meals and we enjoyed the most delicious dinners at Masseria Auraterrae. Attention to detail is everything - our daughter celebrated her birthday during our stay and received a special treat at breakfast! We loved our pre dinner drinks with Saverio, the breakfast boxes we were given for our early departure and the attention to detail at all times. That we only stayed for a week - we wish we were there longer and we will be back!

Superb

The room, hotel, and surroundings were incredible but what we will be talking about for years is the service. Not sure if I can say names on here but the very personable lady who checked us in (the one that had formerly worked at Disney) was so incredibly helpful, giving us a tour of the whole property upon our arrival which is quite large and giving us many recommendations for our few days in Puglia. The head of the bar program (the one who had previously worked in London) was so passionate about his craft, making very unique cocktail made almost exclusively with ingredients of Puglia or even the property. Some of the best cocktails we have had and great company too. This hotel is first rate and the best hotel we have ever had the pleasure of staying in, it doesn't get any better! We were quite sad to leave and say goodbye to the staff, thanks again for the great experience.

Masseria Auraterrae was one of the most exceptionally beautiful places I’ve ever been. From the moment I was greeted in the driveway by the manager Franco to the moment we left it was a dream. No detail was spared in the reimagination of the property - the incredible grounds and buildings, the room design and furnishings, the menu and food, the service. All of this and more made for an incredible experience. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Beautifully restored and fantastic staff

This property was immaculate, the grounds were stunning and so well looked after. The Italian country charm was enchanting, from lavender gardens, winding stone paths and whitewashed buildings. The property features only 22 apartments and you barely cross paths with other guests. Set just out of town from Polignana a Mare which was in hindsight the best choice, Polignana a Mare was so busy with tourists event though it was October, staying outside of town was a relaxing escape from tourist hotspots . We were travelling with our 5 year old and the options for him for dinner were very limited as it was fine dining restaurant on site. Breakfast on the other hand was amazing, fresh cooked croissants, omelettes and fresh squeezed juices. We would have dinner in town before returning to the property . Wine list is amazing also !!!
