Nice quaint Auberge near Mont Saint Michel. The room was adequate for our one night stay. We were offered an upgrade from 2 single beds to a double, but this was not necessary. The location is perfect for easy access to Mont Saint Michel. It does require a decent walk across the sheep paddocks, or there is a free shuttle service from the main tourist area (where you have to pay for parking) across the bridge.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was definitely worth the price. Location is amazing (great views of Mont Saint Michel just a short walk down a trail).

Nice clean room. It is about a one mile or one and one half kilometer walk from the hotel to the shuttle to take you out to Mont Saint Michel. Every morning the local farmer takes his flock of sheep down the street next to the hotel and out to the pasture, along with the associated noises and smells. Free parking right by the hotel. Restaurant is not open, so you will need to walk or drive to restaurants around 1 mile (1 and 1/2 KM) away. They do, however; provide breakfast for a cost, if you order the night before. We found the sheep passing by quaint, but at 6:30 in the morning, it may be an early wake up call for some folks. Some rooms are up a flight of stairs, so request a lower floor room, if stairs are an issue.

The hotel's location for our visit to Mont St Michel was perfect, with very easy to access to the Abbey, walking or driving. It was so close without the congestion you might expect. The modern rooms were quiet, clean and spacious with good AC. Staff was super friendly, giving us advice on visiting the area. The breakfast was one of the best we had in France. The sheep herded past our window in the evening was a fun bonus. Nothing!

Great location, within walking distance to the shuttle for Mont St. Michel. Also possible to walk directly there. Very good value. Had air conditioning. Very friendly staff.

the room was spacious and as advertised the sheep came by our window in the morning! Close access to Mont St Michel. Breakfast was good. Easy check in with friendly staff.

We had originally booked a hotel inside the area along the shuttle route and where you can get a code to park your car. More expensive but we wished we had kept that hotel because it would have made the stay much simpler - catching the shuttle, access to some restaurants and bakeries etc. Also Auberge de la Baie Hotel was along the path of sheeps so they woke us up in the morning and the street outside our door was covered with sheep poop.

The location was excellent for a short stay near Mont St. Michel. It is about a 50-60 minute walk to the island, including a 20 minute walk to the free shuttle. We preferred to take the shuttle one way but expect that 20 minute walk back to the hotel. The location of the hotel is on the path of the sheep crossing the road which is fun to watch. The breakfast was an extra fee but worth it for convenience and quality. Our room did not have A/C during a heat wave. It did have a fan but it was still very hot in the room when we stayed. There are other rooms at the hotel that do have A/C so make sure you request one if you are going during warmer months. There are not really any restaurants close by for dinner. We had a car so managed to find a place to eat but be aware that most good places you will need a reservation or eat at MSM before coming back to the hotel.

Lots of flies in the room. It took us quite a while to kill them. We asked the hotel staff for help and they offered us fly spray.

The room is newly renovated, very clean and comfortable. Could see Mont St. Michel in the distance. Shuttle bus to the abbey is 20 minutes' walk.
