Little bit old

The pool is excellent. It's a very big pool with not much guest, so was quite. The hotel looks old. The painting is failing i several places. The room was not good clean, and the TV was disconnected from the power cable. I had to help the staff to connect the TV power cable. Had to ask for gel and body lotion as there was non on the room. The room was near the golf car station and a lot of noise from there was disturbing. I had stay in this hotel 2 times in the past and had enjoy it, but now is a bit disappointing.

When we first checked in, there was no water bottle in the room, even though a card stated “this bottle is complimentary, next ones will be charged.” Regarding coffee, the initial setup was balanced with 2 regular and 2 decaf. However, each day the decaf kept increasing while the regular coffee was not replenished. Fortunately, I prefer decaf, but my partner was disappointed as she prefers regular coffee. As for towels, everything was fine during the first two days, but afterward, they started to go missing one by one. By our final day, we had no face towel, no foot towel, and so on. It almost felt like the last couple of days, housekeeping might not have been paying much attention to our room. Last but not least, about the pool — although we usually prefer the sea, my son enjoyed the pool, so we used it nearly every afternoon. Unfortunately, it often appeared dirty. I am sure the water is filtered, but if you check the corner near the towel stand, there seem to be “dead zones” where circulation does not reach, and dirt remains throughout the day. Sorry but when you are 5 star hotel, you must take care of these in a better way.

Excellent breakfast, really fresh and ripe fruit. The Grill for dinner was great, and friendly staff The interior decor was rather old fashioned and dark, but the grounds are superb, and in better weather the inside wouldn’t matter at all!

Not much going on if you are not a golfer. Breakfast was good but service slow and place very dated

The staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good with a wide variety of choices. I’m not sure how this hotel has managed to be accredited as a 5 star hotel? It may well have been of a 5 star standard a few decades ago! The hotel is very tired and run down. It’s in desperate need of redevelopment. Towels on internal stairs to soak up the rain leaking through closed windows, paint flaking on balconies, tired furniture, the activities around the walking /jogging track poorly maintained, generally looking run down. We decided to eat in the Grill restaurant. The good and service were good. During the meal there was 2 diner who was on his phone having conversations with another person with his phone on loud speaker, playing music & watching clips. All on loud! In any restaurant this kind of behaviour from a fellow diner would be classed as rude and inconsiderate. We asked a member of the waiting staff if they would kindly ask the gentleman to refrain from using his phone in the restaurant in this way. We were told that the staff member could not tell him to stop as he was the owner of the hotel! From the response this kind of complaint from a guest wasn’t unusual and had obviously happened before. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel or return there.

The staff were very friendly throughout the hotel and I he golf pro was knowledgeable and patient! The food was lovely and fresh and well presented. The hotel building is a little bit tired in places so needs some investment to bring it up to scratch

The location and staff were very good. We only had breakfast at the hotel and that was good. The hotel looks a little tired and could do with an uplift.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff throughout. We enjoyed some excellent food. Rooms were adequate for our needs. The golf teacher Josè was brilliant The WiFi signal could be a bit patchy at times
-
The most exceptional breakfast buffet I have ever seen. Unrest amongst the staff should happen behind closed doors! Some staff were not very good at giving customer service. They left their smile at home!
