Beautiful small Hotel with caring delightful staff. The restaurant on site hás absolutely phenomenal fixed price dinner that is pricey, but well worth it. Would have given it max rating but breakfast on weekend was limited options, cook was off so disappointed but they refunded breakfast cost. Location —once you find it on a pedestrian only street—is deal for shopping, variety of restaurants in same block and beach steps are less than 2 minute walk. They do have a few limited free parking spaces but you need to call to put down road block gates to gain access. Street parking is very tight and full. Great mattress and fabulous shower in beautiful marble bath. Was quiet at night during June stay. Will always stay here. See above regarding breakfast on weekend

Beautiful clean grounds and lush gardens. very good locations walkable to town of Lagos and cliff boardwalks. We thought the room was a bit tired. The curtains instead of a bathroom door seemed tacky ad curtains between sitting area and bed not necessary.

I loved the customer service of Anna and in the morning a blonde lady, I think her name was Olga, she got help from the kitchen to speak English. This hotel is absolutely divine and pristine in every way. I have travelled the world and found this wonderful place quite by accident. I loved it and especially noticed the beautiful door and room number plaque. I will recommend to all my friends. The parking wasn’t ideal and couldn’t get my car out to leave early as had an emergency. I was told to ring the bell, but no one answered. So, I had to get an Uber home and then one back to get my car. When I spoke with owner the next day, he said I should have called. I wasn’t Informed to do that.

No one at the front desk, had to call to get let in. We were the only guests which was very awkward.

The cook, who was also serving breakfast, agreed to store my luggage in a locked room and came back to the hotel at 3 PM to hand it over to me. -

The hotel was a short walk from the beach and street of restaurants. The breakfast was artfully served, complete with yoghurt, pastry, fruit, coffee and offer of eggs. We were able to secure one of the few parking places behind the hotel for 10 Euros per night. The gentleman staffing the hotel was helpful. The staff was responsive to phone calls. To enter the part of the street where the hotel is situated is a bollard with a code that you must use. We were not informed of this prior to arriving. A precise visual map of the street and advanced warning of the code would have made it easier.

Everything about our stay was perfect, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was roomy, shower great, in house chef prepared a marvelous breakfast, the receptionist was so helpful and very friendly. Nothing to dislike.

The location was centrally located within walking distance of the main shopping plaza. The breakfast was top notch and the staff was extremely observant to each person's needs.

The property is in a excellent location right next to the beach and close to all restaurants. The room is clean, the breakfast is good Well once you understand how the hotel works, there’s no problem, but there’s no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up stairs. Also do not expect anybody in the reception because there’s absolutely nobody in there, you get your room keys and good lucky if something goes wrong. Our train got delayed and we arrive there 7:50 pm nobody at the reception(door is closed at the night, you need your room keys to getting in), they send a person to give the key and the next day we did our check in

This hotel is a gem. It is located within 5 minute walk from the beach. We loved everything during our stay, the staff was super nice and helpful, the breakfasts were custom made and very good. It is a small hotel and it is in a really great shape. Highly recommend it to anyone staying at Praia da Rocha.

It was good location. Just next to the beach side. They offer towels which was convenient and helpful. The room was very clean! The breakfast staff was really nice. Big thumb up for the uncle serving all the tables by himself . The room is beautiful. Quite a good design . There is a fridge in the room in case you want to keep fresh water. 1. There was always nobody at the reception you need to call them. The lady is resting somewhere else. 2. There’s almost no sound isolation. During our stay there was some guest quarreling with the reception lady about parking , we heard the aggressive talk loud through the door. 3 for this price there’s no water or coffee capsule provided in the room, not a kettle, and when you go ask for help the lady said the bar is open only in the morning. Small gesture would’ve made the stay much more adorable. 4 received a fishing message with fishing link on the booking message from the hotel, don’t click . 5 suite 1 has access to the terrace but in the afternoon you can smell the cooking from restaurant next door not very agréable.

This is a beautiful place to stay in Portimão! The beach is super close and so is the pedestrian street so to say with all the souvenir shops and good restaurants! Having breakfast was great and we really enjoyed our time here! It is a great plus that there is parking available! There are only a few steps to the place so my mom, who has a disability, could walk to her room on the first floor by climbing three steps - there are no rails on the steps, which to hold though. The shower was spacious and walk-in so that was comfortable too. Thank you to the hosts! The only thing is some of the rooms that we booked were a little noisy at night. Portimão is a party city and the hotel is close to the bars so sometimes in some of the rooms it might be noisy at night. Still it is a beachfront hotel and is definitely in the more quiet part of the pedestrian street than the rest of the beachfront hotels! It was not a big problem for us.

This hotel is a hidden treasure, totally superb in every way. The staff were amazing. My husband and I definitely plan to return.

Clean and fresh. Handy for the main area (bars and restaurants) and the beach is close by which is accessible by steps. Great breakfast and welcoming staff. Nothing really. If we had to mention anything it would be that there isn’t much of an outlook from the ground floor terrace but it was nice to have a terrace to sit out on.

This really is a charming hotel in every way. The hotel is beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds and pillows, great shower, spotlessly clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Irena was brilliant and made sure that we were happy with everything. The breakfast was amazing with a huge selection of lovely fresh fruits, yogurts, breads cold meats plus egg and bacon. The hotel is just off the main front road which can be busy but the hotel is just tucked away enough for any noise not to bother us. One the best stays we’ve had in Portugal. Highly recommended!
