Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Airport

The hotel is beautiful you are impressed when you enter the hotel but for me I did not like the location very close to the airport you can hear the planes passing or landing a lot of noise otherwise it is beautiful

Staff is always nice, kids love the fish and the breakfast is great

Old hotel, just okay

Conveniently located off of I-5 and near the PDX airport & Cascade Station (with various shopping options and fast food restaurants). We find these rooms to be perfect for our family as it provides enough privacy when traveling with our teen. Plus, it gives us enough room to spread out our luggage and items during the day. This particular location had ample accessible parking at the front, and we found the hotel to be clean and nicely maintained (possibly recently remodeled). We didn't take advantage of the pool during our stay, but our late check-in was quick & stress-free. The breakfast is always a winner in our group as everyone find something to eat at the buffet (omelettes, pancakes, cereals, juices, etc). Actually, they ran out of juice during regular service hours, and we asked one of the staff members about it--she was friendly & promptly worked to replace the bag. Overall, we found the staff members to be warm and helpful throughout our short stay.

We always stay here when visiting Portland, often booking multiple rooms for family members. A convenient base for visits, good parking and far enough from the hustle and bustle, but with great ammenities (e.g. breakfast buffet is one of the best for a hotel).

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels in countries around the world. This hotel was right up there with some of the others.
