Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Downtown/RiverPlace

The room was nice! Comfy and safe. The check in time was at 4pm and there were no rooms available due to still being cleaned. They had a lot of us out in the lobby waiting and the staff acted really confused. Overall, the room was nice!

Front desk attendant is great, but the soundproofing of the room system is too bad, room not that clean, hair dryer is not working.

Very close to OSHU Knight Cancer center. They five a discount on rooms and parking for patients. They have an excellent breakfast buffet and serve early at 6am. Very accommodating! Beds and rooms are very well equipped with kitchenette. Beds are comfortable and walls are very well insulated. The hotel is directly accessible to the Riverwalk trail along the Willamette River. Beautiful landscaping and sights to see right at the back door.

Everything was great, staff helpful & friendly, breakfast was excellent, room was very clean. Great hotel close to OHSU cancer center. It made the OHSU visit much better.

Parking feels secure, not common for Portland, and is attached to the hotel. The street car is a block away and the river front park is about a block away too. Some nearby restaurants. Breakfast is included and decent with a good amount of seating. Only complaints is that pets are allowed which I don't love but our unit didn't have any weird odors or fur flying around so it was okay. Also, the neighborhood feels sketchy when it's dark as it's very empty of people walking around.

Bathroom, one person using it, it gets cold, takes time to recover. It would be nicer if they extended boiler size.

Nice hotel, staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. They had a restaurant on premises and the man who worked there was great. The suite was spacious and clean. Toaster did not work. When I got back home and reviewed my bill, I found charges on my credit card statement from the hotel of which I have no idea why. I am currently trying to contact Marriott about the charges, but have not heard back. Be aware, parking is $42 per day. I was irritated by housekeeping knocking on my door from 10 am on. Check out was supposed to be 12 noon, so why the continual harassment?

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was awesome!

The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice to start the day before traveling to our next location.. The parking was convenient while staying at the hotel.
