If you’re looking for a somewhat budget-friendly stay for your first time in Portland, consider the Paramount. Excellent staff and great location within walking distance of everything.

While the room did not have a coffee maker or microwave, complimentary coffee and a microwave were conveniently available in the lobby. Overall, it's a comfortable and conveniently located hotel, and I would happily stay here again.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Very professional and courteous. The rooms were clean, for the most part. Without getting into detail, the people who clean the rooms could certainly have checked under the beds a little better. I choose to say no more. Lol! We enjoyed our time at the bar and love the atmosphere of downtown Portland. Will definitely stay there again!

I really liked the simplicity of the hotel. Not overly decorated but all touches were useful and necessary (in my opinion). Compared to my conference partners who stayed elsewhere, my hotel was the preferred hangout!

The location was great for the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall visit. The staff were very friendly and the bed was comfortable. Overall, we had a great time.

Everything was great, they just need more staff for the valet. Our car was never there when promised, despite the valet staff working their butts off. Luckily, we didn't have tight timelines, but still frustrating. Otherwise, the staff was great and the hotel overall was above average.

Great location! Nice views. Very near the Max Light Rail and easy walk to great restaurants. Friendly staff.

This is the place to stay without breaking the bank. There is a bourbon and cafe in the hotel and a very good Italian restaurant across the street. The walk downtown was short.
