Aragona Palace Hotel & Spa

The hotel was clean, and the air conditioning was very cold, but it was a bit noisy and the temperature couldn’t be adjusted. The price was high, but the facilities didn’t live up to it. The Wi-Fi signal was very weak, and the female server with short hair in the restaurant had a poor attitude. There are many areas where this hotel could improve: the loose flush button in the toilet could be fixed; the bed sheets and blankets from the last century could be replaced; the old-fashioned door locks could be replaced so I wouldn’t have to carry a 2kg room key with me whenever I go out; the rusty table and chairs on the balcony could be replaced; and the old-fashioned lights in the room could be replaced

It was a nice size and very clean. Bed was comfortable and amenities in bathrooms always helpful Very to close to several restaurants I knew it was very near the port which was great to walk from the ferry, but might have been nicer in the shopping areas

Close to the ferry and restaurant but not overlooking the beaches. Staff were friendly. We stayed 7 nights. 4 nights would have been ideal as there is not a lot to do on the property. Breakfast was horrible. Bowl of anchovies open air all week as an example of poor presentation. Half board is not worth it - if you take the booking.com package they can’t change that and you have to eat at the hotel or you lose the value. Food for lunch/dinner was hit and miss. I would suggest sticking to the wonderful restaurants on the island

Great location as close to everything. Easy to navigate. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. Staff helpful and courteous. Hotel is a bit tired and needs an update. Room very sparse and beds were mediocre at best. Relatively little amenities in the rooms. We had a great patio but furniture was not great.

Overall a great place to stay. Great amenities and it’s very close to the port and restaurants. Loved it for those reasons. Some of the staff were not very friendly. Upon arrival I was checked in quickly which was great however no one explained the amenities to me. I had to return to reception to ask about the pool and spa - this is only after. I did see a staff spend time with 2 guests going over everything. That same courtesy was not offered to me unfortunately. The property itself is good but the bed is extremely uncomfortable. Very hard making it difficult to sleep on.

Good location close to the port You could hear EVERYTHING in the rooms. Full conversations from other guests and all the noises outside. Every night I woke up to random sounds. The bed only came with one flat pillow too

This spacious, full service hotel was the perfect place for us to stay for three nights on Ischia. We chose it because of its close proximity to the ferries. The hotel was exceptionally bright and clean. The website doesn't accurately capture how beautiful the outdoor pool and lounge area is. Beautiful views, warm clean water and many spots to enjoy a BYOB food and drink (if the bar isn't open). The indoor thermal pool is lovely as well--temp of the water was perfect. The day time staff is very knowledgeable and helped us navigate a variety of tourist related questions. There were two of us in twin beds and we selected a room with a small balcony. It was the perfect size for us. Breakfast is ample (especially pastries and breads) and well stocked but of modest quality--the type you would expect from a large chain hotel in the US. We especially liked the row of restaurants adjacent to the hotel--there are several very good choices here and we enjoyed the ones we chose (especially Portobello Restaurant). The central bus station is nearby and we used this religiously to get around the island with no problems. For me the quality of the breakfast items could have been a little higher. Personally I'd prefer fewer, but higher quality choices.

The bed is very very hard, that is one thing that needs improvement.

Great and welcoming staff. We were too busy visiting sights to engage with the hotels facilities. Even though the provided scrambled eggs at breakfast, asking people to pay extra for fried eggs is surprising.

It was very close to the ferry and it was very clean Mosquitoes in the room at night .

Spa and hot tub pool. Half board. Plenty to eat but food cold, salmon tasteless.

A beautiful hotel located close to the Ferry terminal. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the breakfasts were more than sufficient catering for a wide variety of tastes. The spa facilities are also worth a mention, lovely and relaxing. All good, no complaints
