Marcantonio B&B

The location is excellent. Restaurants, the port, Aragonese Castle, bus stops, and stores-are all within easy walking distance of the beautiful B&B Marcantonio. We had a room with a large private balcony overlooking the garden where we could relax and admire the lemon trees and a view of the castle. The public kitchen area has indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the garden also. We also appreciated the large kitchen with plenty of supplies for preparing a snack or a meal. They even provide coffee and an expresso maker in the kitchen. In the room, there is also a small fridge. We loved everything about this property. Everything was perfect. This was the perfect place to stay.

Every detail was beautifully done, and you can tell there’s real care and pride behind what they do. I would absolutely return and recommend them without hesitation. This was my second stay here and I really enjoyed it. Catrin and Daniella were very welcoming and kind. They gave us some nice local recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, and the breakfast was amazing too.

The B&B is lovely, and the hosts are wonderful. The location was good, albeit a bit hard to locate via Google Maps. It was easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. The hosts have provided many wonderful amenities in the rooms, and we had use of the kitchen and coffee maker. I found the beds and pillows a little more firm than I like.

Well located, lots of character, very clean, excellent breakfast and wonderful hosts If I could pick one thing I’d say to offer a softer pillow option.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The most beautiful home, close to the sea and many cafe's and restaurants. Sitting on the balcony, for breakfast, looking over the garden of this gorgeous property (which was the family home of the owner), with views over to the beautiful Aragonese Castle was unexpected and utterly delightful. (The scrambled eggs come from the hens in the garden). We asked Davide Conte for suggestions regarding taxis, where to go for a pizza and general advice and nothing was too much trouble. For a few days we felt as if we were part of a wonderful Neapolitan family. Nothing could have been better.

Marcantonio in Ischia is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! Besides the island has a natural beauty, Everything went so good with the lodge and the staff. Starting from check in, Giuseppe and Simona gave us a warm welcome and gave us all the best hospitality and recommendations about activities , restaurants and else. Catrin and Daniella also were very caring about our stay and making sure we are enjoying it. The house was extremely neat and tidy, very well equipped kitchen, spaces and rooms exactly like in photos and the view to the castle was amazing ! Great location too, definitely I will be back! Thank you all of you( Catrin, Daniela , Giuseppe and Simona who make possible a wonderful stay for us ! We will keep you in our hearts ? Nothing

Everything was perfect! The nicest, warmest, and most accommodating hosts went out of their way to collect us upon a late arrival and to help us try to find some lost luggage. The room was spotless, comfortable, and lovely - just like the photos. Location is excellent. Terrace and view of the castle were great. And, I'm still dreaming about the delicious salad served at breakfast. Highly recommend!

Good location, accessible via bus quite easily, very clean and comfortable room and bed. Quite a nice property. The owners son kindly dropped me at the port on departure. Communication could be improved. I sent a few messages via whatsapp and all were ignored.

Delicious and generous breakfast was prepared from the local fresh bio products (oranges, eggs, vegetables, etc) with love.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The place was spotless, peaceful, and beautifully designed. Catrin was a fantastic host, welcoming and always available if we needed anything. We loved using the spacious kitchen to prepare dinner and then relaxing on the terrace—it was the perfect spot to unwind. The attention to detail throughout the property made it feel extra special. And the location couldn’t be better—the beach was just a 2-minute walk away! We would love to come back again!

The most exception and magical stay during our trip in Europe! Catrin and her family are so wonderful, we truly cannot wait to be back! The rooms, the breakfast, the cooking class, what a place! Everything was so perfect! We stayed 3 days and it felt too short, next time at least a week!

Our experience was fantastic. The house felt like a dream come true. The rooms were spacious, bright, and exceptionally clean. The attention we received was perfect—personalized service, and every question was answered promptly. I highly recommend trying the homemade breakfast; the flavors are unmatched, and the service is outstanding. It was truly a perfect experience!

Beautiful spacious rooms! We were a group of three and were surprised that we had our own suite of 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. Really nice and gracious hosts (and their two sweet small dogs). We had the provided breakfast one morning and it was so fresh and delicious! A great start to our day in Ischia! Nothing!

Everything was so well thought of. From the water waiting for us on arrival to the delicious breakfast to having somewhere to put the e-bikes and the wonderful recommendations for places to eat and things to see on the island. No question was too big, the house was delightful and in a great location and incredibly peaceful.

Clean facilities, amazing staff and owners, great breakfast, great air conditioning, awesome location. Catrin and her whole family were incredibly welcoming and delivered a top customer experience. We paid extra for a huge, gourmet breakfast and a tour around the island by Catrin and Davide's son. They helped connect us with a local cab driver who was incredibly useful for getting to/from the ferry and dinners in Forio and up the mountain. We were also worried about the train worker strike and Catrin went the extra mile to look into the issue for us and see if our train back to Rome would be impacted. Overall would certainly recommend the B&B to anyone looking to visit Ischia! We could’ve used a thicker blanket on the bed and didn't realize there was an extra one in the wardrobe until after we left

Our stay was absolutely perfect in every way. The location couldn't have been better - nestled right in the heart of Ischia's historic center, here is a supermarket nearby and many charming restaurants. And, of course, the castle! The accommodation exceeded our expectations - clean and comfortable room, Italian style <3. And not to forget the balcony with its stunning view! The hospitality was exceptional, with every detail taken care of to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. We truly couldn't have asked for more! Thank you for making our trip so memorable and relaxing!
