Miramare E Castello Hotel

The property is perfectly situated to view the Castello and is right on the beach. Amazing. Views all around. The rooms were a little small and tight for 2 adults and the A/C struggled mightily. Our friends were in a beautiful suite and their A/C was almost too cold. The WiFi was terrible. The connection was lost over and over while sitting in bed. The roof top restaurant was beautiful with amazing views and excellent food and service. However they boasted that they had lobster for dinner and 3 of us ordered it with pasta. Because of the way the prepare their meals, they warned us that they would have to split a 1 kg lobster among the 3 of us. That was ok but when it came none of us could find any lobster. That was a shame and at 90 euros each, we felt we were taken advantage of.

The hotel and its surroundings, location and amenities were wonderful. The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety of breakfast items and everything was delicious. The staff, waiters and bartenders were also very nice and accommodating. My only complaint was the size of the room and bathroom - both were on the small size.

Best hotel in ischia None

Location was excellent. The views were superb. We had room 403, which may have been one of the best rooms in the hotel. The views were just tremendous. The staff was lovely, accommodating, private beach facilities were perfect. The food was excellent. The breakfast was plenty fun, lots of options and choices. Love the decor of the hotel, love the location. You’re able to walk to the castle and able to walk into the town. I would absolutely stay there again. This was my fourth trip to Ischia.

The view and the helpful staff. Breakfast was good too. The mattress was really hard m, old and uncomfortable. You expect better for a 5 stars.

Our favorite and best hotel on the island of Ischia. Great spa, delicious breakfast with stunning views of the sea and the castle, very helpful staff at breakfast and reception. Luxurious interiors and the best location on the island, we always stay there. ?

The staff is fabulous. Front desk support is consistently available to answer questions, make recommendations, and book reservations. This is our 3 stay between this property and Mare Blu- their sister hotel a few doors away. I prefer this location directly on the water, with beach direct access. The walk to the mineral pool at Mare Blu is quite easy. The breakfast spread is the best ever -- who can go wrong with fresh! The staff remembers you, your choices resulting in an experience that leaves you feeling catered to. Had one dinner at La Lampera-the rooftop restaurant that was delicious with excellent service. Love the location In a world we are blessed with many choices in, we will return here. Splurged on a room with a patio...which we ended up not using 1)no shade when there was sun 2)weather -- get that is uncontrollable.
