The location was really central, making it super convenient. The staff were warm and welcoming, always happy to assist. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a wonderful variety of breakfast options to cater to different tastes. Loved the cosy lounge — it was a great spot to relax. The room requires extra ceiling lights. During the day, the natural light from the window suffices, but at night, additional lighting beyond the bedside lamps is necessary.

The location was perfect, as was the breakfast. The transfer to the airport was misleading. We were quoted an approximate price and promised that the taxi would have a meter. This was not the case and the price was much higher. Recommendation: Use Bolt or Uber! No fridge in the room.

Perfect location. Nearby all the highlights of Porto. Staff was very friendly. Room comfortable and good beds. Good breakfast. Check in and out times very good. Nothing.

The front desk staff were excellent- warm, friendly, helpful, especially Maria who pulled out a city map, showed us the location of the hotel and gave us a general orientation of where we were relative to points of interest in the city. The location of the legendary Porto Hotel is excellent for getting around the city- Hop On Off bus starting points are a short walk away. Restaurants for varying budgets, small convenience stores, a Normal store, and a fairly large shopping mall with a food court, are all within walking distance as well. Breakfast was excellent- warm and cold food choices, tea, coffee, freshly-squeezed orange juice(!), breads, fruit, pastries. The room safe did not work, even after 2 attempts by maintenance to fix it. We were told a new safe would be installed but we were only there for 2 nights so that did not happen during our stay.
