Santa Catarina FLH Suites

We enjoyed our stay at the Santa Caterina FLH Suites. Our room was as nice, clean, and comfortable. The location is great for exploring Porto and is about a 30 min train ride to the airport. They provide cake, tea, and coffee in the afternoon, which was a nice bonus! Breakfast is ordered the night before and brought to your room. Ours wasn't ready when we had requested, but when it was, it was good!

Accommodation was clean, well refurbished. Staff is friendly, service oriented and speak good English. Absolutely wonderful, coffee/cake station available to all guests on one of the floors (and coffee machine on each floor), lovely breakfast is ordered in advance to the room and booked for a time - came right on time still warm. Was able to keep my luggage there before check-in and it was even put in my room before I got there. And I did not mind the stairs at all I thought they added character :) 100% recommended

Tucked away little gem in the midst of hustle and bustle. Historic property beautifully renovated. Charming coffee stations on every landing. Breakfast delivered. Room with a view of the cathedral! Well, I had the room on the very tip top and it's a vertical walk up. But that said, the stairs contribute to the aesthetic. (And they will help you with your bags)

It feels like home, but elevated. The stair case is beautiful. I had a little trouble going up and down as my knees were injured

The rooms were clean and roomy. Very inviting. The stairs gave us a workout.

The location was perfect for seeing all of the sights. The staff was wonderful. There is no elevator but we knew this before we arrived. The staff will help you up with your luggage.

Central accommodation, right in the Santa Catarina shopping zone. A lot of restaurants around as well and even a supermarket just in front of the hotel. Amazing room view of the Clérigos Tower, super clean room, a nice welcome note and sweets. We were even served with wine at the reception when arriving for the check in. The staff super friendly and ready to help. Nice breakfast served in the room every morning, you can choose from a variety of options. Free coffee/tea and cookies at every floor. Nothing to mention

Lovely spaceful room, delicious breakfast and kind staff.

Only thing is that the rooms are all very close and you can sometimes hear noises in the morning, luckily only starting at 8 am. There is no elevator, although they were very good at letting us know about this beforehand. One day our breakfast cart came with dust on it... We're not sure why.

If I could give this place more than 10 stars I would. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It really did "feel like home." I have nothing bad to say

I stayed at Santa Catarina FLH Suites for three nights and overall had a pleasant and uneventful stay. The location is absolutely excellent—easily a 10/10—with everything within walking distance, making it very convenient for exploring Porto. The room was very clean and well maintained, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was also great, with good quality and enough variety to start the day right. The only downside during our stay was that our room had a noticeable creaking sound. Any movement, especially walking to the bathroom at night, would cause the floor to creak and could easily wake up your partner. This may be an issue for light sleepers. Aside from that minor concern, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and I would still recommend the hotel for its location, cleanliness, and overall value. Creaking sound when you walk on the floor.

Cosy, clean room - small but very comfortable and felt spacious with a lovely balcony looking onto the city. Staff were genuinely friendly, kind and helpful. The breakfast included with our stay had so many tasty options - the pasteis exceeded our expectations. Bathroom and shower were also pleasant. Amazing location in a bustling area of Porto with good connections to the rest of the city. Fantastic value for money. Highly recommend Santa Catarina and will gladly stay at FLH residences in future. The entrance was not very obvious at first, it's a small door with a doorbell. You will have to climb stairs to enter.

Location is excellent as you have the main shopping outside the door. Still we never heard anything from outside. If you want to explore more you have a quick walk down to the tube station. To get the breakfast served to you at the room was also pretty nice for those who want to stay in for a while extra. Staff is friendly. The room was great in terms of silence from the busy main street, but could have been better from inside the hotel. This is really to push something bad out.

Wonderful location with easy walking distance to most must-see sites. Breakfast was included and very fulfilling for a long day of sightseeing. There are no elevators so you will have to go up at least one flight or more if you’re not reserved on second floor. Staff will gladly help with your luggage.
