I love that the property is not in the main craziness of the city so you get a good nights sleep. I also love the rooftop, it’s really nice and relaxing with great views. All the staff were helpful and accommodating. The entrance is right on the street so crossing the street and getting taxis isn’t so easy.

Amazing view of the river. a walking distance from the main attractions. Excellent room for a family little away from the city center
-
Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Comfortable, quiet room with air conditioning. Beautiful roof terrace, on the riverfront. Nothing.

Nothing!

Polite and accommodating staff. Problem with the safe. Clogged vanity sink. Bad room layout - a lot of space but overall inconvenient. Location is close to old town, but you need to take Uber or use funicular to get there.
-
More shelves or drawers to put clothes in would have been nice--room only had 1 closet for hanging garments.

Beautiful view. Gave hammers for the festival. Spacious rooms Restaurant only serves pizza mid day no other food options.

The hotel’s location was outstanding, offering some of the best views of the Douro River. The breakfast was a highlight of our stay, with a wide variety of delicious options and excellent espresso. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and provided a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring Porto. During our stay, a large event was taking place nearby, and many of the surrounding streets were closed to traffic. As a result, our Uber was unable to drop us off at the hotel, and we had to walk approximately 15 minutes downhill with our luggage. While we understand that the event was outside the hotel’s control, advance notice about the road closures and suggested transportation alternatives would have been greatly appreciated and helped us plan our arrival more easily.

The location is perfect. Gorgeous views of the River and bridges. Rooms are very comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar is nice.

Bed was comfortable Poor breakfast where I had to pay for an homelette, not in line with 4-stars standard, no gym, no toiletries in the bathroom, no coffee machine, very weirdly shapped hotel
-
Rooftop bar The roof top bar could have been open later

We stayed there four nights. We were allowed one bottle of water for the two of us. A flies are starting coming like crazy I got two or three flies on me now can't him out of here That's ridiculous. We stayed in Portugal for 4 weeks with several hotels and only this hotel was cheap with their water.

Location was excellent Although the room was reserved many months prior (with a balcony) I was told abruptly it was not available. Which was disappointing given the room rate paid for a balcony view. Also, they wanted to charge for bottled water in the room.

Amazing property on the river with great views of the bridges of Porto. Lovely breakfast and rooftop bar. The walk up the hill to the center was steep but the funicular was very close and an easier option

Room was sparkling clean and bed extremely comfortable. Staff very cordial and helpful. View from room, over the river, was terrific. Walking distance to Ribiera lots of dining choices and easy access to river tours and river ferry to other side of river where tasting rooms sited. Restaurant only served breakfast. Price was not included in my reservation and I felt 33 Euros was way out of line for the food served. Bar next to restaurant only served White Port not any other white wine selections. A la carte selections served at dinner time very slim selection.

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. A special thank you to Rita and Pedro, who truly made our experience memorable. They were cheerful, kind, and incredibly helpful, always willing to answer our questions and even help us learn a bit of Portuguese. Their warmth and enthusiasm added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. We greatly appreciated their hospitality and would happily stay here again.
