Location Very old and basic

It was very noisy because the neighboring building was undergoing renovation. The renovation began at 7:70 in the morning. The hotel needs renovation.

It was very clean , but there was some issues wuth thr keys , also with the sink and etc. not catastrofic but still unvomfortable .

Location, nice room and price ! It was one night only, but I think it didn’t a refrigerator which it would be very convenient !

Top Location, very friendly stuff and always perfect clean! Very big thanks on the hotel workers for sending my husbands headphones by post when we forgot them in the hotel! Next to our window there was a huge, very noisy, 24/7 humming air conditioner pipe, which made it difficult to sleep for the first few nights.

There was a torn down building, right next door, being rebuilt. All day, there was drilling with dust everywhere. Booking.com did not make us aware of this extremely noisy inconvenience and failed to answer me when notified

During my shower the water temperature wasn’t stable going from hot to cold :/

There was major construction 2 doors down (wrecking balls and all). This was happening at 2 am and I thought that the ceiling was going to cave in. The hotel should have provided us with a free breakfast or at least a discount for our interrupted sleep. Less construction at night.

Poor amenities, like, no garbage bin inside room, no slipper there because floor is without carpet. No cloth racks

well the stairs and rooms are old fashion for seniors very difficult with stairs coming in suitcases ect. main floor has a little elevator . construction next door and walls very thin .

Location was brilliant, beds and room were comfy. Clean towels every day perfect. For breakfast minimal was set out and when something ran out you had to ask to replenish it. We arrived for breakfast at 8am and hardly any food was out we had to ask. Even orange juice only small amount put in the jug at any one time and not replenished. Yoghurts had ran out by 8am aswell although no one on the other tables had any yoghurts. Please keep breakfast topped up as it is annoying having to ask for food when its been paid for. Our hairdryer in our room was broken we raised this at reception and no one got back to us and we didnt have a hairdryer for the entire stay and ended up having to go out with wet hair as they didnt have a spare to give us.

We had an excellent stay in Porto at this hotel, which is extremely well-located (convenient for restaurants, public transport) and within walking distance of nearly all the activities to do in Porto. The value for money is great : clean, with a very simple breakfast (croissants, bread, butter, jam, yogurt, fruit, milk/coffee) but filling, and the staff are very attentive (they speak English for those who don’t speak Portuguese). The hotel’s decor is a bit dated, but when you pay so little for a hotel in such a great location, you have to make some compromises. The most important thing is that it’s clean — which it was during our stay.
