MyStay Porto São Bento

The room was nice and clean. Location is great. The air conditioning system didn’t work. There was no oxygen inside the room if you don’t open the window in cold weather. There was a constant noise from somewhere behind the wall (maybe the broken air conditioner). No one has responded to my messages in WhatsApp. The check-in is after 4pm and the check-out before 10am. It’s a totally stupid thing, sorry.

Location and price. Worker or property manager screamed into his phone for the entirety of my time in the common areas. I could hear him on other floors. Cursing constantly, yelling angrily, borderline scary to be around as I couldn't tell if he was safe/drunk. He has a smokers voice; a habit you could smell from the common area, as he'd smoke with the door open and let the smoke come in. Extremely unprofessional, unlike anything I've ever experienced before. Also, facial or public fair in the sink probably speaks to what I couldn't see.

The location was decent but not my most desired place in Porto. It was disgusting. Shower and bathroom had disgusting greenish brownish residue everywhere. The floors were so dirty and disgusting. There was no air flow and the smell was horrid: no actual front desk or people to help you. The luggage storage was small

NO ELEVATOR. VERY SMALL AND NARROW ROOM

Location Shower was full of mold, the room smelt moldy. Outlets were under the night stands, very challenging to access.

Clean, modern furnishings and facilities. Room size is small, but adequate for one person.

Everything that you might need, absolutely centre location. We had a small issue with the main door access code but it was solved in a matter of hours.

Host was quick to respond with codes and to answer questions!

Location was superb near Sao Bento station, ease of check-in (even digital made it very easy), comfortable bed and clean room. Chose the room without outside access for light and was pleased no smokers smell at all. Catering facilities available No outside noise Bathroom whilst adequate was small. Elevator wasn't working (I was on first floor so minimal impact to me)

The room had a strong smell,, musty smell. The carpet on the floor contributes to this.

The room was quite small, probably good enough for a couple of nights stay max. There was a cleaning facility that could be availed but they just cleaned the toilet & changed the towels. Never once (in our stay of about a week), vacuumed the floor or changed the sheets.

Very good location where train and metro station only a few minuets away. Room is clean. When we walk in a breakfast box is there although we did not use it. It shows their care of travelers.

Great location! Otherwise it was a functional no frills room and very small.

The only downside was a small bit of damp/mould on the shower ceiling but nothing that would ruin the stay or trip!

Excellent location and communication from the staff. Small kitchen and fridge. Kitchen shelves are very high. No step stool to assist. Tight quarters and small bathroom.

Great location, right next to Sao Bento stations and walkable to many tourist sites, including Douro river. Many places to eat nearby. Nice space, including modern bathroom with big shower. Despite central location, it was quiet. No view, since no window, although there was a skylight but needed to be shaded it was so sunny, so the room became very dark. Elevator does not go to 5th floor. As a traveler who prefers to stay in local accommodation to interact with the locals, missed not seeing or interacting with anyone.

The location was very good, close to everything and right at the timeout market. Very very very small room, the floor is all carpet and not a clean one, the room was very stuffy and the shower had mold.
