There isn't anything not to like!!
-
Be prepared to climb hills and potential lack of access to street pick-ups for taxis, etc.

Great location

Nice personal and nice room . Perfecto ?

We travelled all over Portugal and fell in love with Porto! A big part of that was this EPIC hotel! Staff was amazing, location was 12/10 and what a VIBE! LOVE LOVE LOVE

The location was nice for a couple of days, but the crowds on the riverfront can be overwhelming after a couple of days. I felt the property was well tended.
-
Location, restaurant and room service great, clean, having a balcony. Noise is not a problem with balcony doors shut. Access is from the road above unless you arrive by taxi which is allowed to come to property. Dragging luggage through the crowds is not fun. Balcony is a Juliet style, footing and railings are weathered and dirty. Still great to open the doors and be on the waterfront. Could use more table space for luggage

Staff was outstanding. Lucia, Pedro, Juan and front desk were stars
-
Hotel is very dated. Lighting in rooms is not enough. Breakfast restaurant has poor service and mediocre food.

The location Nothing

Lovely hotel , great location and wonderful staff. People should know though that to access it you need to get down a steep incline orthodox luggage or contact the hotel for them to help you.

Location Advertised with spa and gym. None of them exist.

I would have expected more from a 5 star hotel

This hotel is charming and right on the riverfront! Also, the staff did not hesitate to walk our many bags up a steep hill because our care couldn’t get down to the entrance. Above and beyond!! A bit of noise but should be expected being on the riverfront.

The view from the room overlooking both the river and the plaza was superb - just a pleasure to sit on the little balcony and watch the scene below. The breakfasts were also superb - all that lovely cheese in the wine cellar! The staff were friendly and welcoming - looked after the luggage until check-in and, in fact, arranged an earlier check-in for us. Thank you.

The location, the staff, the breakfast buffet. Those stairs at the room were difficult, the bathtub very risky, not much place to put the clothes,

Excellent location, staff was very courteous and helpful

I liked the location and the food.

The location is excellent, however it can be crowded and noisy during public holidays. Beautiful view of the river. The service is great and the rooms are comfortable.
