Everything was awesome.

Ac was not working and next time I would ask for a room on the other side of the house. A little noisy at night because AC did t work and my windows were open.

The room is spacious and stylish . The location is convenient, not meeting in touristic downtown, but still easy to arrive. They offer freshly baked bread for breakfast. There is no elevator. It’s fine with me, but for someone with heavy luggage, it might be an issue.

Everything was great! Spacious and comfortable room, very helpful staff, tasteful furnishings. Breakfast could maybe be upgraded, especially coffee or.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—very well connected and within walking distance to most major attractions, which made exploring the city incredibly easy. The place itself is super clean and beautifully designed, with a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. A special mention to Antonio, who was extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay—we felt truly welcome from the moment we arrived. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was amazing and the decor was very artsy! The rooms were clean. The bathroom was nice but had a clear glass door. The breakfast was good - loved the different juices. They even brought me a gluten-free roll. Although we had informed them when we would be there, we felt they weren't quite prepared for us. There were some communication difficulties that made our arrival less than smooth. Entry access, room access, and toilet paper were issues initially, but all were resolved.

A beautiful property in a great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the price is hard to beat. Beds are bit hard and lumpy.

Every one at Porto Music was very friendly helpful and welcoming. The location is amazing, the building is gorgeous and the room is perfect. My room had a well-equipped kitchenette and there is an italian shower. Breakfast is delicious. The house is very close to Casa da Música subway and there are many bus lines close by.

Delicious Continental Breakfast. Great ambiance. Large room with servicable furnishings. No heat in building. A space heater was provided for the bedroom. No parking available - on-street paid parking only. No protein items like eggs or fresh fruit for breakfast. Across street from the Music Theatre.

Exceptional

The hosts were amazing - super friendly and ready to help. The location was very good! During one week standing, the towels were changed just once. Breakfast was pretty simple, lacking options to choose from. The door in the shower was fard to close/open which poisoned the experience.

Antonio and Paula were extremely helpful and friendly, with a beautiful dog who occasionally made an appearance. Paula greeted us on arrival with a glass of port while she marked a map with lots of info and recommendations. A special shout out to the lovely Eduardo (I think that was his name) who always greeted us with a smile at breakfast. Buffet breakfast was good, nice selection of bread and warm rolls, cheese, ham, cereal, jams and a different choice of cake each morning. Our room was a good size with plenty of hangers and space to store things. It was great to have a small kitchen area and a safe in the room. The bathroom was very clean and nicely decorated. For the price this was exceptional. It's a very thoughtfully restored old house which we were impressed with as soon as we entered. This may be just our issue, but we found the pillows and matress a bit hard. We probably should have asked about replacement pillows, but we didn't, so partly our fault.

I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. There was also a small kitchenette, which was convenient. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to others.

The hosts Antony and his wife were exceptional. Room was a little too small.
-
A great location and a property of character. A helpful and informative greeting. The room was well appointed but we found the bed a little uncomfortable. The breakfast was good but the buffet selection was small and I felt rationed. For example items like bread and the two rolls were put out and individually replenished as they were taken.

Great location very close to metro and lots of local bars and restaurants

Superb

The beds are very firm, which made sleeping difficult for me, but then some like a firm mattress. Street noise is also a consideration for light sleepers.

The room was lovely, very spacious, and the hosts were very attentive and full of great information. The location was quiet and felt very safe. It was about a 30-minute walk to the restaurants with more "atmosphere," but we enjoyed the after-dinner stroll. There were also many local options nearby.
