This huge hotel fells like a communist Russian style with everything huge except the rooms Decent breakfast and free parking Good view on the Douro Tiny old fashion room Endless corridors

It’s clean with a beautiful view. Good space and the breakfast was really good. Location is fair, near to the Jardines del Palacio de Cristal and one of the bus hop on - hop off station. It is very quiet However, this was the only hotel en Portugal that they did not provide water every day. I asked for one bottle one night and there was not any interest for helping me , even I asked for buying it , but the only person in the front desk was not able to help. Even more when there is not a supermarket near by.

Bed was comfortable, breakfast pastries were nice. Horrible property. Location is out of the way and near nothing we wanted. The building seems to be a dormitory. The room was dark brown and white. The ceiling was dark brown, as was the carpet and drapes. There was NO furniture in the room, no pictures, no mirrors, no lamps, including no vanity in the bathroom! No fridge, no safe, nothing! It was like a cell. We had a built in desk and reading lights attached to the cloth headboard. The security was terrible! The door was solid wood, no peephole, and all the doors to the hotel rooms were kept open and they had student testing going on in conference rooms and they all had access to the hotel rooms! No separation or security taken for guests. The front desk help were dismissive and uncaring. I would NEVER stay there again, and would NEVER recommend anyone stay there! I am so angry that no one shared how bad this place was and it had good ratings in booking.com!

It was great, very clean, perfect location, excellent breakfasts, very nice staff. It was our first time in Portugal, this hotel really added to our overall positive experience

Quiet, had a balcony, awesome breakfast, friendly staff

The room sound isolation was very poor, I was able to hear everything from the corridor and other rooms, also there was constant noise from AC external unit (I assume the bearing is wear off)

Ibis level hotel, comfy beds, nice view, good breakfast and (the most important) - free parking for guests. It's a huge problem to find not expensive parking in Porto, so it's a big advantage of this hotel. Walking distance to city centre is about 20 minutes and 30-35 minutes to the bridge. Be aware of no shops around. Building may seem old (built almost 50 years ago), but it's warm and comfortable in the room, so it's not a point to worry about. Absence of fridge in the room (if someone needs) The smallest TV I have ever seen :))

Friendly staff, very clean good breakfast and the most important for me was the private free parking.

Yes! Nice and clean!

Good hotel, very nice view from balcony, good breakfast. Stuff kind and helpful.

The hotel is very far away from any metro station. While this will eventually change when the new line is complete, it is relatively remote for now.
-
The staff were very nice and patient. The location is right by the Crystal Palace Gardens and it has an amazing view of the river and one of the bridges.

Hotel had good installations and breakfast service, staff was really nice and welcoming and the location was amazing A/C was broken for the entire building, no notice was given to the users and the recommendation of "Open the window, Porto is usually cold" made all the insects enter the room and we got bitten all up, its summer and the temperature was scorching

Clean and friendly. Great breakfast buffet. We had a room next to a big balcony where people went to smoke and with the windows shut the smoke came into the room and it was very loud when they spoke

- Requested for a room with a nice view, 8/10 according to availability and type of room. - Had lunch at their restaurant 9/10 ? - AC not working (stayed on for seconds even dough hot air then switched off by itself) , asked for help but unfortunately no solution ( Had to open window to ventilate room with the risk of having birds enter) . My query was not considered. - Dust and hair on bed sheet but was a 8/10 - A bit of noisy neighbours but that's not Hotel problem

The hotel very nice maybe quite a way from the center but the staff were very helpful at getting us a taxi . The breakfast was one of the best on our trip, the lady running the breakfast service was very friendly and welcoming, selection first class. Only the distance , the parking was a bonus .
