The staff were very nice and helpful. It was nice if the rooms have coffee maker or at least kettle. When we asked, they provided kettle service for us but in my opinion it is a most have for a hotel room.

Great room and patio. We were told it was OK to park out front of hotel, it was not our rental car was broken into. Additionally 3 other cars also vandalized that night. Restaurant was lacking in quality.

The rooms are decorated with themes of various artists. Our room had a mural of Renoir with a large excerpt of his Ball at Bouvigal. In the hallway were pictures of artists from Portugal with examples of their works. Going to the elevator was an education amid bright wall hangings. Breakfast offers a range of choices, and there are restaurants within walking distance. It was Halloween and a mock crime scene offered opportunity to slip in the lobby.

Amazing, friendly staff at a lovely hotel! We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. The breakfast was great, accommodating to vegetarians. The location was beautiful, right next to the water, and quiet, away from the busiest tourist areas of the center, but still close enough to walk to and from the center.

Great black out curtains, excellent view, excellent breakfast. Artist themed decor was wonderful and unique. Street parking was hit and miss.

Renovated updated historical building with attention to details, large space in the room and generous and lavish space to gather around the living room
