A nice city centre hotel. Conveniently located . Around 15 mins walk from most places we visited. We were there for the eclipse and the hotel went to the trouble to provide glasses for everyone which was a nice touch. The rooftop pool was nice but overcrowded. Gorgeous view. The rooftop pool wasn't managed well and seating was reserved while people were in the pool for long periods of time and no sun beds available. There is building work going on outside the front of the hotel which began at 8 am.

Breakfast fantastic - even with an option to serve yourself sparkling wine as an accompaniment. We will NEVER AGAIN trust a hotel safe!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel looked really nice, it was 10 minute walk from the bus station taking you to the Praia do Gondarem and others, which we loved. Also, it was 20ish-minute walk from all the sightseeing locations, which proved convenient during our stay. Breakfast was nice, with pastel de nata every morning. There was a gym which is an additional plus for us. And not to forget the arranged ride from the airport, which was a big plus for us after a 4-hour flight! The only thing that could have been better is the pool, both inside and outside, it is rather small, and not suitable for swimming.

We like everything about the hotel. It was clean, friendly staff, food was superb. Our room was located facing the garden and it was really cool seeing the peacocks every morning. The location was far from any convenient store. It would take you 15 to 20 minutes to get to the nearest one.

New, modern 5 star. All you could wish for. Unless your upstairs neighbours have children who like to run around in the small hours The lack of response to noise complaints from the above room. Children clearly running around from 11pm until 2am. No action taken by reception as “they have a DND sign on the door”. As we had an early flight to catch leaving at 3am we took matters into our own hands and knocked on the door of the clearly loud room above. Idiots basically. Zero respect for anyone else and the hotel didn’t want to deal with it

Our stay was only one day- way too short. The hotel was new and beautifully designed. The interiors were very contemporary, but had a warm and inviting feel. Nice wood detailing and beautiful stone-clad bathroom were very luxurious. The staff was wonderful and the rooftop bar had great food and great service. Views from the rooftop, as well as from the balcony of our room, were great! The rooftop pool was very cool. We really liked this hotel! I can't think of anything that could have been better. All loungers were filled when we wanted to spend time by the pool but I think there were as many loungers as could fit in the area. We should have come earlier, I guess! It was still very nice to sit at the bar there!

Friendly staff, clean, great food. It is a bit far to walk to town but we are fit and healthy so it was ok. Maybe not for people with mobility issues.
