Staff was fantastic. We will definitely stay again and tell our friends about this place. We were a little nervous because the rates were much lower but it is way above value! The shower door didn't close all the way and left a puddle on the bathroom floor. I'm sure this will get fixed. We let them know about it. Great stay!

Very quiet and family oriented
-
dropped the score down because of the area but the hotel itself stands out as a beacon in a past its prime street

Hotel exceeded my expectations. I selected it due to many positive reviews and that was good decision. Room was big, with big balcony, in convenient location. It was quiet, only sounds in the night was birds. I can recommend this hotel, really good value for money.

I didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel. I usually eat outside. The room where I was assigned was at the very top. It had a balcony that I didn’t use because it was cold in the morning. Anyway, the door leading to the balcony doesn’t lock. At first I thought it did but when I tried to slide the door even though I locked it, it opened. So safety wise I was a bit worried. The toiletries! There were no conditioner, lotion, shampoo/body wash in a very small container that can be used up in one showering.

Parking, friendly staff and excellent breakfast

Great location, great staff. Room was big and clean. There’s a parking lot for those coming with cars. I was able to leave my car there after check out which was very helpful. I’ll definitely be back. You can hear people in the hallway but nothing bad.

Amazing value for money. Big comfortable room and bed and the free parking is a huge bonus . A bottle of mineral water could have been nice .

Everything was very clean Bathroom was a little outdated
-
Good location off the heavy tourist areas. Leisurely walk down the road to the sites and river. The room was spacious and comfortable—even a regulation-size bathtub! Michaela at the front guided me to some good nearby cafes and fado venues.

The big room jacuzzi help you to relax after waking.

Top of the hill, so everything is downhill. Comfortable bed. Very slow internet connection.

Our overall opinion: 7.5 / 10 1. The bed was comfortable. Great pillows! 2. The water in the bathroom was very hot. Great water pressure. 3. An easy 15-minute walk into the centre of town, 4. Room was quiet 1. The staff, while polite, weren't overly friendly (no greetings when we entered or left the building) 2. We think our room was recently renovated (which was quite nice) but it would have been useful to have plugs to recharge phones by the night tables rather than across the room. 3.The bathtub floor was a little slippery and if you have mobility issues, it would be difficult to step into the tub as the side was quite high..

It was small but the rooms were nice, clean and in my opinion, within a good location for walking to authentic Portugal areas and the Ribeira district I have nothing bad to say about the property but the location in a 40 minute walk uphill from the Ribeira district.

The staff were amazing. Helpful from the moment we arrived around 8:30pm until we left on a Tuesday at 6am. Very friendly, gave us Porto tips and helped us as we prepared for the Camino. It may seem far from the city center but as you walk down Rua Santa Catarina and start taking Porto in, you're in the heart of the city in the blink of an eye

Great value for money, especially considering its free private car parking space (probably nowhere else to be found in Porto), and great staff (very friendly and willing to provide recommendations and useful information) Common spaces and bathroom a little bit “old fashioned”
