The room I had was very spacious! It itself was rather large, but there also were a table by the window and a separate closet, so, more than enough space for storing stuff. The bed was very comfy! The shower was spacious too. I also had breakfast included and I enjoyed it! There were toiletries (excluding body lotion) and a hairdryer. The soundproofing could have been better. It was rather ok at first but on my last day someone checked in into a room nearby and I was hearing constant coughing which was extremely annoying. So, I could say, earplugs are a must, especially if you are a light sleeper.

Good organized, has everything you need. Nice and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Nothing

Very convenient to metro. Manager was helpful. Breakfast of great variety and delicious. Room was clean. Manager gave great recommendations for restaurant. The windows let in street noise. There was construction at the time, so it may be a self-limiting issue.

Good location on the upper part of the city where you can easily walk down the hill and reach the city center in 15-20 minutes. Clean and comfortable room, super nice reception, good breakfast.

The location was perfect close to everything downtown Porto and Metro. The breakfast was delicious with a wide assortment of choices. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were wonderful let me stay in the lobby while I was coordinating a meeting time with my friends. In the meantime, a room opened up so I could check in early. While I was unpacking my luggage I heard what sound like a parade and I found out I was there while Queima das Fitas was occurring 2 blocks away. I promptly left to enjoy the festivities Nothing… I was just disappointed. They didn’t have an opening for the next night and I had to move to another hotel.

Overcrowded breakfasts at various times, random cleaning times (sometimes after 3 PM, sometimes at 11 AM), a bit of noisy neighbourhood + AC units on the rooftop.

I did enjoy the off-the-street window room, the courtyard view is somewhat relaxing, a house roof was being rebuilt which I found to be nice and sonder. During the day the hotel is usually quiet. The staff did their best to help and resolve my issues (which I had more than one). The minifridge was good, there's no minibar which I also liked since there was more room in the fridge to put my own food. The location is good if you intend to use the D line Metro or spend a lot of time by Trindade. Personally I found the hotel lacking. Not so bad that I ended up booking another, but enough to be disappointed, for the first time in my life. The shower hose (tube that connects the shower head to the water) was broken, so water was being splashed all over the place. On the last night after my room was cleaned all the soap was taken by the cleaning ladies, I had to ask for more downstairs. There were strange vibrations and sounds starting at 10pm and ending maybe by 2am. I do not understand where the sound was coming from because it could have been washing machines, it could have been outside A/C units, I don't know. But somewhere from the building, or the neighboring building(s) the sound could be overhead, and the A/C unit inside my room could not drown it out. It made it hard to fall asleep without taking sleeping pills for a part of my stay. The A/C is disabled during the winter, it only heats (this is generally OK because you just open the window but I would have preferred actual A/C where I can choose any temperature). The A/C turns off automatically after 3 hours. This cannot be changed. You cannot heat to 22 or 21 degrees, only 23 and up. There's no liquid soap, only soap bars are given which I found a little bit annoying but it wasn't a big deal. When I checked into my room there was a very strong chemical smell coming from the bathroom. I opened the window and after an hour or two it was gone. There is no fan in the bathroom to my knowledge, no active fan at least. It's possible I just got a bad room, I was offered to switch but I couldn't because of my schedule (so when I asked about it the next day the hotel could not offer any other room).

Comfortable and accessible. Good breakfast.

A decent breakfast to start the day and very close to the metro for getting around the city Also not a long way to the centre by foot Very handy
-
Very clean and comfortable room, friendly staff. There is a metro station very close to the hotel.

Good but could have been better. The coffee machine was not working. The workers were too busy to come out and service it. I did not like that I had to pay to stay in the same room. I would have thought this would save time and expense on the part of the hotel to have us stay in the same room. We booked two additional nights to our already reserved rooms. When we requested to stay in the same room so as not to repack our belongings (which were a lot since we were doing the Camino), they said only if we paid extra. We did and that did not sit well with us.

Very nice location, clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice

Towels and bedsheet were stained with what seemed like black fingerprints. One day, they forgot to put full sized towels in the room. They also did not replace used and dirty cups. Old furniture that needs replacing, as it is showing signs of usage
