Supernova - Hostel

Location is the one and only positive thing. The family room was not even close to what was described and shown on the pictures It is more like a dungeon - located in the basement - small room, damp air, low ceiling

The supervisor was really kind and helpful The terrace was nice and big The place had weird smell, the room was small and it wasn’t really comfortable that the shower was inside the room cause it was crowded and made noise if I wanted to take a shower late at night or early in the morning

A really nice hostel. The room was comfortable, with a clean attached shared bathroom. The staff are very friendly. It's got a great outside patio.

The only thing was the room. It was nothing like the pictures. We thought it would be cute with decorations like the photos. However, it was super plain, beds were not super strong/stable. Maybe we just got the least special room. I have no idea. As adults, we thought it would be different. For younger kids, I'm sure it is fine. It is a typical hostel.

Nice location. Not serving breakfast until after 9:00 is quite late. Especially for those hoping to get an early start to the day.

Friendly helpful staff, convenient location, secure, a clean hostel for Camino pilgrim's. I needed to ship a suitcase to Santiago via Eurosender. They helped me print the shipping label and lent me tape and scissors to attach it to my bag. Desk staff from 9-6 communicated very well, with WhatsApp in advance and during our stay. Some rooms have cubicles with wooden ladders to upper bunks that are easier to climb, but other bunk beds with narrow tubular metal ladders are always uncomfortable to climb barefoot, so wear sandals.

It was a bit noisy. Also, it would be great if they could add a mini fridge to the room. I also cannot comment on how hot the room can get in the summer as there is no AC.

I would have loved a shelf in the shower or another hook for my clothes.

It was located very close to all the restaurants. Very good location. The place was also clean and beds were quite comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay at SuperNova. The location is amazing, it's located close to the Bolhao Market. The room was comfortable, and my cubicle was very comfortable with a light and a comfortable mattress. There is a major outdoor sitting area with multiple tables. There is a large lobby/dining area that is perfect for having coffee or doing some laptop work. This will be great in the spring and summer months. Modern key-card door locks for the room and the bldg. I would definitely recommend. My only complaint is that it says there is a Kitchen, but there is not. They will help you with food or beverages, such as heating items, but they do not provide refrigeration or a cooker.

All locations of visit are within 15 minutes walking distance. Most happening place in Portugal. Great vibe. Beautiful interiors.

Good location, clean and good stuff

The only issue was a lacking shelf next to the bed, so I could put there my glasses or a book for the night. The same in the showers - there wasn't any place, like a tiny shelf to put glasses.

Good quiet location, great restaurants around and nice facilities The atmosphere wasn't very welcoming and the staff wasn't very social.. and there's no kitchen to cook which we didn't notice before..
